Good Morning everyone! I hope your day is going great!

My card today is featuring Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set. Poppies are special to me.

The inspiration design comes from Try Stampin On Tuesday!

And…

The Time Out Challenge — Their theme is birthday– it’s their 6th birthday, Happy Birthday.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhere to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Wrap a length of Stampin’ Up! 3/8″ Tricolor Ribbon around the DSP and embossed panel adhering on the back using Stampin’ Up! Glue Dots.

Crop an oval frame from Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock and a circle from Stampin Up! Whisper White card stock using Stampin’ Up! Layering Oval Dies and Layering Circle Dies. Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink onto the Whisper White circle. Adhere the oval and circle together using Glue Dots. Pop over the ribbon using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.

Stamp one of the poppies from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set in Highland Heather and the other in Poppy Parade Inks. Fussy cut them and pop onto the edge of the circle with two leaves. These are left-over leaves from a previous card. Add a few Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker. Adhere to the card base.

The sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a Whisper White panel is from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the card project is finished.

I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend and you got to enjoy something other than staying inside?

It has taken me two days to get this card made, this was to be my card for Sunday but life kept getting in the way of getting it finished. My grandson told me to just write up the blog and post. I told him I had to have pictures to explain what I was writing. Could you make a card with just instructions and no pictures? In my quilting days, we would do mystery quilts, you didn’t know what it was going to look like until the quilt was finished. Each week you made a block and once all the blocks needed were finished you put the quilt together. Mary, Amy how about a mystery card? You are always doing things to peak our interest!

My card for today is being entered into the Cardz For Galz Challenge. Their theme is Spring flowers.

The card I am featuring today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, the Very Versailles Stamp Set, and the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set. My card is a CASE of Christine Versluis. You can see her card here.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

Crop a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Thoughts Dies. Stamp in Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate ink the script stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set. Over this script, stamp the postage stamp and postage markings from the Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty Stamp Set. Adhere this panel to the embossed Tin Tile panel that has been adhered to the Whisper White card base.

Stamp the flowers and leaves from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set using Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock, and Old Olive Classic Ink. Crop using the matching die from Nature’s Thoughts Dies. Arrange the flowers and leaves, taking pictures as you go so you can remember how you arranged it. Stamp the greeting words on Whisper White card stock scraps using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink, Fussy cut and place around card front.

The sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a Whisper White panel is from Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, and Special Someone Stamp Set, and Heart to Heart Stamp Set. Butterflies from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set are stamped in Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay Classic Ink.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope is stamped using the butterfly stamp from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set. The butterflies are stamped in the same colors as the ones on the card front and inside panel.

I added the quote to this picture, I have had the quote forever it seems. It is so true what it says. Enjoy your family and friends during these trying times. Time will pass never to return and you do not want to have the “if only”, “why didn’t I” running through your thoughts for the rest of your life.

Enjoy the moments, DO NOT let homeschooling get in the way. Like I have said before my daughter-in-law turned Disney into a homeschool class, so use your imagination– baking teaches math, enjoying playing in the yard, collecting what you can find is science. There are lots of creative ways, non-stressful to teach it doesn’t have to be with a book. It is teaching they will always remember because you made it fun. How many drops of water does it take before a penny is covered in water? Who can blow the biggest bubble? Watch a movie then discuss it? Make a card–math and English covered there.

Happy Thursday! It looks like another rainy day in Georgia, but what does that matter to me it took me 3 days to get this card made.

The card today features the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Stamp Set. The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.

The design inspiration comes from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #358.

And…

The Always Fun Challenge — Shades of Green.

And…

The Double “D” Challenges — It’s All About Green.

This is true shades of green — Garden Green card base, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Soft Seafoam are all the greens. You can see all these greens in the layers. Makes for a cute in-depth card. All the layers are cropped using dies from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The art image is from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone and is stamped on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White base using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. The image is then colored using Stampin’ Up! Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. The Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread has been colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and attached to the two Shamrock balloons. Three Basic Rhinestone jewels colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Shaded Spruce (another green) Stampin’ Blends Marker is added to the greeting and each Shamrock center.

The Whisper White sentiment panel is framed with a frame that was the negative piece left when a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Garden Lane Designer Series Paper is cropped. It is adhered to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies was used for the sentiment panel with sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts and Here’s A Card Stamp Sets stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green Classic Ink.

A Whisper White envelope receives a panel of the Garden Lane DSP to the envelope flap and your project is finished.

Welcome to another weather forecast. It’s 32 degrees, feels like 23 but no rain that could turn to ice! Please keep that away today. I almost ask how was your weekend but that is on the way as today is only Thursday!🙂

The card for today features Stampin’ Up! The Gang’s All Meer. This is a free item during Sale-A-Bration, going on right now.

My challenge for today and I almost missed it! Silly me! Fab Friday Challenge.

Easy card! Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Old Olive card stock with a mat of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave Embossing Folder. The next layer from the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (DSP) is also embossed using the same embossing folder. Two strips are cut, one from Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock, the other from the Tropical Oasis DSP, the ends are bannerized and popped under the circle cropped from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The MeerKats from the Stampin’ Up! The Gang’s All Meer are stamped on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock scrap, fussy cut and colored using Stampin’ Up! Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. A few Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels colored with a Stampin’ Up! Dark Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker is scattered around the card front. The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! The Gang’s All Meer Stamp Set is stamped in Old Olive ink on the Whisper White circle.

Hello everyone! I hope your weekend was fantastic and you got the do what you wanted and rested a bit for the week ahead.

My card for today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set.

My challenge for the day is inspired by the Crazy 4 Challenges.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Coastal Cabana card stock base, add a panel of the same card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder. Adhere to base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut three squares from Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Cut a strip from Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper and add a mat to it from Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. Adhere this down the left side of the card front. Pop the three Whisper White squares over the vertical strip on the left. Fussy cut, ( I have goofed and put my dies with another stamp set, got to figure out which set) the little lion, koala bear, and tucan and pop them on the Whisper White squares. Aren’t they cute? Add a little bling using Sale-A-Bration’s Metallic Baker’s Twine and Sequins Combo Pack. Stamp the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set on a scrap of paper, trim and bannerize one end, pop on using a Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensional.

Stamp the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Fussy cut balloons from the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza DSP and adhere to the panel.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper is given to the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap and your project for the day is complete.
