Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers

Hello all, are you having a nice Saturday and have lots of plans, even with this awful thing that limits most of our activities. Have a fun weekend in spite of all the limitations.

The card I am sharing today is a Double Z Fold card. It features the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. This card is a CAS(E) of a stampin’ friend and team member in New Jersey, no not Amy Koenders🙂, but Karen Ksenzakovic. You can see her card here.

My inspiration for this fun fold card comes from the Dream Valley Challenge – the theme is More Than One Fold

Karen has such great instructions, I believe I will direct you to her site if you are interested in the instructions. I suppose I could CAS(E) (we CAS(E) cards why not instructions) her instructions🙂 and put them here.

The tiny butterflies are cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Beauty Dies. The sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden, Sending Sunshine, and Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Sets are stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on different size labels that have been cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White medium-sized envelope gets a panel of the Celebrate Sunflowers added to the envelope flap and your project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! First Frost

The inspiration for today’s challenge is from {Mojo} Monday. I chose the middle layout.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock card base.

Next, add a layer of the Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper. Adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a strip of the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and mat on a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock. Adhere to the Best Dressed panel. Cut a small panel of the Best Dressed DSP and mat on Blackberry Bliss card stock also. Adhere it over the Perennial Essence DSP. Crop a circle using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shaped Dies. Stamp the greeting in Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss Classic ink using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Stamp Set. Stamp two roses in Blackberry Bliss ink (doesn’t look like Blackberry Bliss, does it?) using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! First Frost Stamp Set. Fussy cut and pop on the circle. Add 3 Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels.

On a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock stamp the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set. Fussy cut a rose from the DSP and adhere in the corner.

To finish the project, give a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Best Dressed DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Botanical Bliss

Happy Saturday, I hope you are staying and staying safe. Boring isn’t it when we are forced to do it! What is it we often say, if only I had a little more time to get things done! Well, you have it now!!

My card today features a stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog Botanical Bliss and if I remember correctly it may even be from 2018 but it is still a current stamp. Since it 2018, it will probably be a retiree this year. I loved this set especially the dies, so if you find that you like it, you may want to go ahead and purchase while you can. Two stamp sets from the Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalog are used for the sentiment, Peaceful Moments and Honey Bee.

The inspiration for my challenge comes from Time out Challenge –Lots or a Little Purple –use purple for Epilepsy Awareness.

.Start with a Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape card stock card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. For me, it is easier to emboss a separate panel and adhere to the card base than to try and emboss the front of the card base.

Cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and emboss using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Embossing Folder. Next, crop 2 bird die cuts (a bird from the second panel will be used later) from a panel of Gorgeous Grape card stock using the bird die from the Botanical Tag Dies. On this cropped panel stamp Happy Birthday in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink using the stamp from Botanical Bliss. Pop this on the Whisper White embossed panel using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp three flowers from the stamp set on scraps of Whisper White card stock again using the black ink. Color the flowers using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends in Light Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Dark Highland Heather and Light Mango Melody for the flowers. Arrange the three flowers across the bottom of the Gorgeous Grape cropped panel. Pop the bird in the corner of the Whisper White panel. Wrap a length of the Stampin’ Up! Tricolor Ribbon around the panel, adhere on the back of the panel using tape. Make a bow and pop over the ribbon. Add two Stampin’ Up! Nobel Peacock Rhinestones and a Pearl Basic Jewel to the card front and it is finished.

On a panel of Whisper White card stock stamp two flowers in opposite corners and color using the same Stampin’ Blends as I used on the card front. Stamp the sentiments using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and the Honey Bee Stamp Set in black ink. Adhere the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Give the flap of a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ Brights Designer Series Paper and your card project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air with A Good Man

Good Morning everyone! We’ve made it another day, so we must have stayed safe yesterday.

My card today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air and A Good Man. It makes for a great card.

Here are my challenges for the day. Addicted To Stamps And More — Theme Make Your Mark.

Watercooler Wednesday –Helen’s Challenge: All About Occasions — my second entry for the week —

Word Art Wednesday –Anything Goes

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. Wrap a length of Stampin’ Up! Braided Linen Trim around the embossed panel and adhered on the back.

Using a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel as the base to build your art piece, stamp the dock first using Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Classic Ink. Color using a Stampin’ Up! Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker. Color the bird red using a Stampin’ Up Light Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker. Stamp the dock on a piece of masking paper and fussy cut, then adhered to the dock image.

Stamp the mountain image from the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Stamp Set using Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate Classic Ink. Stamp off once before stamping on the panel. Next stamp the water from the Stampin’ Up! High Tide Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray Classic Ink. Stamp the dirt using the sand/dirt image from the High Tide Stamp Set. Stamp the grass image from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green Classic Ink.

Stamp the man and child image from the Stampin’ Up! A Good Man using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. Let it dry well as it takes the darker inks a few minutes to dry. You can speed the process by using your heat tool. Color them using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light Call Me Clover, Light & Dark Crumb Cake, Light Flirty Flamingo, Dark Balmy Blue, Dark Daffodil Delight, and Light Petal Pink. Using Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake loop and braid a length of the twine through an anchor from the Stampin’ Up! Sail Away Trinkets.

Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Adhere a panel of the 6″ x 6″ Brights DSP to a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap and your card project is finished.

Good Day everyone! I hope you are staying in and staying safe and craftin’ away. For some reason, I can’t seem to get my mind around card making and usually, that’s my favorite thing to do. Too many distractions with all that is happening around us, I suppose.

My challenges for the day are The Sisterhood of Crafters — Spring is the theme.

Watercooler Wednesday — Helen’s Challenge All About Occasions

Today, I am using the March Paper Pumpkin to help create my card. I made my card and then saw the one Mary Fish had created when I received her post, great minds think alike, but I will say I CASEd hers since ours are similar. Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Crop the Paper Pumpkin piece using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Dies. Mat with a panel of Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock and pop back in the spot it was cropped from. Fussy cut an umbrella from the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP. Pop on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
