Stampin’ Up! Playful Pets

Stampin’ Up! Playful Pets

Monday is here. Are you ready for another great week?  Have you been making one Christmas card a day to get ahead of the rush.  I think it is only 316 days until Christmas so you have 300 days.  If you make two-three a week, you will be finished early.  Use a simple stamp set that you know will be returning next Christmas season.

My design inspiration for today is the TGIF Sketch Challenge for the week.

Since all my little creatures are fussy cut from DSP I believe it would qualify for Crafty Hazelnuts Pattern Paper Challenge.

Since my card is lots of animals, I believe I am eligible for the Crafty Animals: Challenge #47.

And 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge.

My cute critters are from the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper as is the background panel with all the writing.  My card is a CASE of Krista Cleary-Yagci’s card.  You can see her card here.

The card base for my critters is Real Red card stock.   The black and white stripe mat you see is from the True Love DSP.  The red stripe is from the Playful Pets DSP.

All the little critters are fussy cut from the Playful Pets DSP as are the hearts that surround them.  The Love is cropped from Real Red card stock using a dies from the Well Written Dies.

The sentiment panel has a strip of the Playful Pals DSP applied at the bottom of the Basic White card stock panel.  One of the little critters wants to play with us so she is hiding and only showing her tail.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Playful Pets DSP adhered to the envelope flap.  Multipurpose glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals are the two adhesives used for adhering the critters to their places on the card front.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts

Happy rainy Saturday! The rain has not let up all night.  I believe we have taken the rain from Seattle it has rained so much in the past month.  The sun is probably shining there.

Today’s card features the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set,  and the Many Hearts Dies.  You can find more information about these items at the post end along with the card cuts.

Design inspiration for today’s challenge is Tuesday Morning Sketches

Since the Time Out Challenges is featuring pink and red and green, I believe my card would qualify for the challenge, even with my green being a blue-green.

Start with a Blushing Bride card stock base. Take another panel of the same cut it the same size as the card base and emboss using the Hearts Embossing Folder.  Mat this panel on a Bermuda Bay card stock panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Crop a panel from a sheet of the Oh So Ombre DSP using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I believe I used the next to the smallest die.

Crop a heart from Real Red card stock, along with a heart from Rococo Rose card stock and Oh So Ombre  DSP using a die from the Many Hearts Dies.  The greeting stamped on the Oh So Ombre DSP is from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set.

After adhering all the elements to the Heart embossed panel adhere the embossed panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Three pearls from the Pastel Pearls are adhered above the Many Hearts.

The sentiment panel is Basic White card stock and has hearts from the Many Hearts adhered across the panel using Multipurpose Glue.

Quite Curvy Fine Art Floral

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Fine Art Floral

I hope your Wednesday is joyful and cheery as you go through your day.  May you find favor with everyone.

My card today is featuring the Quite Curvy Stamp Set and the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.  This is an easy card to make.

CraftyHazelnut’s Pattern Paper Challenge is one of my challenges for the day as a Designer Series Paper is being featured.

This is one of my challenges for the day.  Through the Craft Room Door.

Start with a card base of Poppy Parade card stock. To the base add a panel of Basic White card stock as one of the layers.

Crop a panel of the Fine Art Floral DSP using one of the Curvy Dies.  Mat the two pieces on a panel of Old Olive card stock

Stamp a greeting from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set onto the Old Olive card stock section between the two pieces of the Fine Art Floral DSP.  Place Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly over the front of the card.

A sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Old Olive ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  A flower from the same set is stamped in the corner using Old Olive and Poppy Parade ink.  It is then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Fine Art Floral DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Many Hearts!

Stampin’ Up! Many Hearts!

Monday has rolled around again. Have a great week.

Today’s card features the Many Hearts Dies along with the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and the Hammered Metallic Embossing Folder.

The Sunday Stamps Challenge has a great color challenge for the week called Warm Hearts.  I could not tell if the bottom color was brown or Blackberry Bliss.  I chose it to be Blackberry Bliss as I stamped my greeting in Blackberry Bliss.  The other colors I chose are Very Vanilla, Bumblebee, and Cherry Cobbler along with Crumb Cake as my neutral.  I borrowed the panel layering design from Amy, I hope that is allowed.  I thought it was a great design.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock with panels of Crumb Cake card stock, a Bumblebee panel that is from the Dandy Garden DSP, and a Very Vanilla card stock panel that is for the art piece.  The CrumCake panel & the Bumblee panel are cropped using dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The Very Vanilla panel is cropped using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A greeting from the Itty Bitty Stamp Set is stamped on the Very Vanilla panel in Blackberry Bliss ink.  The little dandelions that are blowing in the wind on the Very Vanilla panel are stamped in Crumb Crumb ink.

The flower heart and the banner of hearts are cropped from Cherry Cobbler card stock using dies from the Many Hearts DiesRhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in the flower center and around the card front.

The sentiment panel is blank except for the loopy hearts at the bottom of the panel.  Since this is going to be a birthday card, I will write a birthday message instead of stamping one.

The medium Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of Dandy Garden DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Approaching Perfection Paper Blooms

Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection Paper Blooms

Today is Friday, the first day of the rest of your life.😊 Have a great weekend!

My card today is created using Paper Blooms DSP, the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set, and the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

Tuesday Morning Sketches has a great sketch challenge for today’s challenge.

Start with a card base of Seaside Spray card stock.

Mat the Paper Blooms DSP on Night of Navy card stock and adhere to the card base.

Crop a panel of the Paper Blooms DSP using the third largest die from the Stitched Dies.  Adhere to the top of the main panel.  Stamp the greeting from Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the center of the flap.  Or that is what I call it since it makes me think of an envelope flap.

Fussy cut two flowers from the DSP and pop on the point of the green leaf panel.  Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Rococo Rose Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Color a few of the white Resin Hearts with the same.  Adhere them to various places on the main panel.

The sentiment from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set (free with a $50 order) is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Basic White card stock panel.  A strip of the DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Paper Blooms DSP.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
