Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

The card I am sharing today is created using cards from Stampin’ Up! Memories and More Card Pack. This makes for a quick easy card.

My design inspiration is the As You See It Challenge.

I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  A panel of Garden Green card stock is cut for a mat for the Hand Penned card.  The card is cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die. The negative portion is matted on the Garden Green panel then the cropped panel is popped back into the negative space.

A greeting from the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack is popped on the card front.

A sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Basic White and a flower from the card pack is popped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of DSP from the 2021-2022 Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP.  The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a restful, peaceful day.

The Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, and The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set (available May 4 to customers) to create the card I am sharing with you today.

My design inspiration is from Addicted To Stamps – Birthdays is the theme.

The Fusion Card Challenge for the design. I reversed the card making it portrait instead of landscape.  I used both the design and the theme of poppies.  Poppies are special to me so I am happy to see a card using it and happy Stampin’ Up! gives us another stamp set with poppies.

And for color, Just Add Ink Challenge is perfect for my images.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. A greeting from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set (retiring) was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink before embossing.

I stamped poppies using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick card stock from two stamp sets, The Flowers of Friendship (available May 4 to customers) along with the current Painted Poppies.  I am so happy it is carrying over to the next catalog.

I colored the poppies using Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. The 1-1/2″ Basic White squares with the poppies from Painted Poppies are matted on a strip of DSP adhering to the right side of the card front after coloring.  The other poppies from both stamp sets are fussy cut after coloring and arrange in the Petal Pink pitcher.  Some are popped on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and some are adhered using Glue Dots.

A greeting from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White that has poppies stamped and colored across the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used in Creating This Card

One day maybe I can get back to a regular schedule of posting my blogs for now I post when I have a free minute and sometimes that minute can take all day. So I post when I can.  Pray things will return to normal one day.

Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink

Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink

Good Morning!  Are you happy it is Friday or does your weekend come in the middle of the week.  That does happen to so many people they have two days off from work in the middle of the week and work weekends.

The card today is a Thinking of You card with the greeting being from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  When you have a Thinking of You card it can be made into a birthday card, sympathy, encouragement, or any kind you chose by the sentiment you have on the inside of the card.  That is what is so great about putting Thinking of You as the greeting.  This card also features the A Touch of Ink Stamp Set, using the hummingbird and flower for the art piece.

Inspiration comes from the Fusion Challenge.  I am playing with both sides, the sketch & the photo.

Start with a card base of Basic White card stock. Adhere a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock over the front of the card base. Next, adhere one of the green panels of DSP from the Oh So Ombre DSP. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere these panels together.

On a panel of Basic White card stock stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink the flower from the Touch of Ink Stamp Set. Stamp the  Thinking of You greeting from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set

Stamp the hummingbird on a separate panel of card stock from the A Touch of Ink Stamp Set so it can be fussy cut.  Color the hummingbird and flower using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Shaded Spruce, Highland Heather, and Purple Posy.

Cut two strips of DSP, one from the Oh So Ombre DSP and one from the Butterfly Bijou DSP. Flag one end of the Oh So Ombre strip. Adhere the flagged strip over the longer strip then adhere both to the right edge of the card front. Pop three pearls from the Pastel Pearls to the card front.

On a pink panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP stamp a sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  Stamp the flower and hummingbird from the A Touch of Ink Stamp Set and color with the same markers as the flower and hummingbird on the card front.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Prettiest Birthday with Flower & Field

Stampin’ Up! Prettiest Birthday with Flower & Field

Can you believe there are only a few days left in February? Christmas will be here before you know it.

The card today is another created using a Sale-A-Bration Free item.  Sale-A-Bration will end on February 28, so only a few days left to get free items.  The featured products used in this card are the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set for the greeting and the Flower & Field DSP.

My inspiration for my card comes from As You See It Challenge — The Colour That Makes Me Feel the Most Cozy Is.  The colors that make me feel the coziest are reds and black.  Guess I am a Dawg fan at heart!

I started by adhering a panel of Flower & Field DSP to a Real Red card stock base.

Cut a panel of the Flower & Field DSP and crop a heart using a dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a panel of Vellum card stock and adhere on the left side using a Mini Glue Dot.  Pop the Flower & Field heart over the Vellum using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Stamp the Happy Birthday greeting from the Punch Party Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the red heart.

Randomly place the red and white heart from the Resin Hearts around the card front.

On a panel of Basic White card stock, stamp a sentiment from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  A border of the Flower & Field DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Happy Cold Tuesday. Have a great day and be blessed you are inside in the warmth.  My nephew and his SIL are linemen, so you know what that means in this weather.  The SIL is a helicopter lineman, meaning he stands on the runner of the helicopter and works on the lines. They have to go everywhere there is a need.

My card today is created using the True Love DSP, Stitched Be Mine Dies, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and a greeting from Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. Oh, and the negative space left from cropping a panel with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  When I looked at that it, I thought that will make a great frame and it does.

Inspiration today comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge  — this week it is a color challenge.

Start with a card base of Bermuda Bay card stock and emboss a panel of the same using the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  This will be adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. Adhere the Basic White card stock frame over the embossed panel.

Fussy Cut the flowers from a panel of the True Love DSP. Color using Real Red and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Use a Blender Pen and Blushing Bride ink to color the rosebuds.   Pop the flowers in the left corner of the embossed panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add pearls from the Pearl Basic Jewel around the card front.

Crop three hearts from Real Red card stock using a die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  Stack the hearts together to give some dimension.  Stamp a greeting from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set on the heart using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  Pop in the upper right corner over the frame a bit.

Fussy cut and color more flowers for the Basic White card stock sentiment panel. Adhere to the card base after coloring.

Color more flowers and adhere the colored panel to the flap of a medium Basic White envelope.
