Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Have a great week.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern and Daisy Lane Stamp Sets, along with the Forever Flourishing Dies and the Ornate Layers Dies.

My inspiration for the color comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiment Challenge.  This one is a color challenge.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock adding a layer of Just Jade that becomes the mat for the Basic White cropped panel.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour Stamp Set is stamped in Just Jade ink on the cropped panel.

Images from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern and Daisy Lane Stamp Set are stamped in Just Jade, Bumblebee, and Calypso Coral inks and then cropped and the daisy is fussy cut as my daisy punch is still in storage.  After coloring, they are arranged on the cropped panel and I took a picture so I would remember the arrangement.  Linen Thread is wound around the card front before the arrangement has adhered over the thread.  Champagne Holiday Rhinestone Jewels are randomly placed around the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets an image from the Forever Fern Stamp Set stamped in Just Jade ink.  The inside is left blank except for the image so a note can be written.

A Basic White envelope gets an image from the Forever Fern Stamp Set stamped on the flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells

Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Any exciting plan?

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set along with the Tasteful Textile and Seabed 3D Embossing Folders.  I also used Crumb Cake, Misty Moonlight, and Seaside Spray Classic Stamp Pads and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Combo Marker.

Inspiration for my challenge comes from these two challenges, the first is Fusion Card Challenge. It has a sketch and a photo challenge, which happens to be seashells.

Another–  Seize the Birthday – Theme Nautical.

I started with a Night of Navy card stock with a panel of Seaside Spray card stock embossed using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Night of Navy card stock is cropped using a die from the Scallop Contour Dies and adhered over the embossed panel to become the mat for the Basic White card stock panel art panel that gets embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder after a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said Cling Stamp Set is stamped on the panel in Misty Moonlight ink.  The scallops on the Night of Navy panel resembles waves on the ocean.

The starfish and sand dollars are stamped on a scrap of paper, do not know which DSP it is from as it was in the scrap bin. Even though there are dies to crop them, I fussy cut them out.  They were then popped on the Basic White card stock panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Three Opal Rounds are popped around the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped with sand dollars and a starfish from the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set. I used a post-it note to mask each sand dollar as I stamped them in Seaside Spray ink.

A medium Basic White envelope has the envelope flap stamped using Seaside Spray ink with the sand dollars and starfish images from the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Happy Thursday everyone.  I pray your day is off to a great start.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Bundle.  This stamp set can look complicated with all those tiny pieces, but once you use it is easier. This is a new set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and even though I was blessed to get to pre-order I have not used it but once.  So here I go, looking through Pinterest for designs on using this and I happened across Su Mohr’s card, so I CASEd it as it fit the design challenge perfectly.

As I said earlier this is my inspiration for the design of today’s card, the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

My card base is Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of Basic White card stock layered over it.  The Basic White panel is cropped using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies, it is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  I suppose this Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder is going to take the place of our favorite, Subtle Embossing Folder, too bad it retired.

I cropped all the pansy and leaves from Basic White card stock.  Thanks to Su, it was easier deciding which pieces made the pansy.

Using the Blending Brushes and Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Pale Papaya Stamp Pads, I colored the pansies and leaves.  I used Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the open leaves.  Using the Blending Brushes made coloring so easy and easier to get the color you wanted.  Once they were all colored I popped them on the Basic White embossed panel using Mini Glue Dots.  I used Wink of Stella to give a little glitz to the pansy bud.

For the inside panel, I cropped a panel of Basic White card stock to match the panel on the card front.  I fussy cut a pansy from a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP, added a leaf that was extra, and the outline for the pansy I had colored using a Blending Brush and the Polished Pink Stamp pad.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap. I used this particular Pansy Petals DSP panel because it has pink pansies on it.

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Happy June 1, you should start making Christmas cards, one a day and you won’t be behind.  Hope your day has been grand.

The card I m sharing today is created using Hand Penned DSP and the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

Inspiration for my design comes from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.  It is a great sketch.

Start with a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Wrap a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the embossed panel and adhered on the backside, then adhere the panel to the card base.

Cut two panels of Basic White card stock as the mats for the Hand Penned DSP. Adhere together, then adhere bother over the ribbon.  Cut a 1-3/4″ square from Pale Papaya card stock, then cut diagonally, stamp the greeting from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set, emboss using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and pop over the Pale Papaya panel of DSP.

Fussy cut a flower from the flora panel of the DSP and pop in the diagonal piece.  Add a gem from Genial Gems by the greeting.

Flowers from Hand Penned DSP are fussy cut and popped on the bottom of a Basic White card stock panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home with Friends Are Like Seashells

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home with Friends Are Like Seashells

Sunday everyone, are you watching the Indy 500, which seems to be a Memorial Day tradition.  I have a race fan so of course, he’s watching waiting for the NASCAR one after this one is over.

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home and Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Sets along with  the Smooth Sailing Dies and the Seabed Embossing Folder.

My inspiration for today’s card is the Card Concept Challenge.  I love the overall theme, but did not make it red, white, and blue.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the Whale of A Time DSP embossed using the Seabed Embossing Folder, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Seabed Embossing Folder and adhered over the Whale Of A Time DSP panel.

The ship’s wheel and a portion of the seagrass are cropped from the same panel of DSP as the background panel. The seashells and starfish are stamped in Just Jade ink on Pearlescent Specialty Paper, fussy cut, and popped over the Seabed embossed panel.  The lighthouse and sailboat are from the Sailing Home Stamp Set and are stamped in Just Jade ink, cropped, and popped on the Basic White panel.  The ship’s wheel gets a Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel popped in the middle of the wheel.  The ship’s wheel is popped against the lighthouse.

The inside panel of Basic White card stock has three sailboats from the Sailing Home Stamp Set stamped in Just Jade ink, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Whale Of A Time DSP applied to the envelope flap.
