Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days

Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days stamp set along with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

My challenge today is with the Daisy Chain Challenges. Birthday is the theme.

My card base is Basic White card stock, I have embossed a panel of the same card stock using the Timetorn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Magenta Madness card stock is cropped using the largest dies from the Scalloped Contour Dies.  A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using the next to largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies.  The Magenta Madness panel is embossed using the same Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  The two panels are adhered together and then adhered to the card front.

Using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days stamp set, I stamped the flowers in Magenta Madness ink on Basic White card stock. I stamped the leaves in Just Jade ink. I cropped them using dies from the Detailed Dahlia Dies.  A length of Gold Fine Art ribbon is colored using a Just Jade Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered across the Basic White panel before the flowers and greeting are adhered to the Basic White panel. The flowers, leaves, and gold foliage are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots for others. I added bits of gold foliage leftover from other cards.  Genial Gems are added to the dahlia centers, a Brushed Brass Butterfly is added to the greeting panel and a larger butterfly is added beside the top dahlia.

A panel of Magenta Madness card stock is embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to the card base.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set is stamped in Just Jade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from the Scalloped Contour Dies.  Two small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days stamp set are stamped in Magenta Madness ink, the leaves are stamped in Just Jade ink.  They are popped in the corner of the sentiment panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of 2021-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Sending A Little Message

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Sending A Little Message

The card I am sharing today is again made using the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set, along with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

My challenge for today is the Can You Handle The Pressure – their all-time theme is Day/Heat Embossing.

Also, the Krafty Chicks Challenge — anything goes

My card base is Basic White card stock. The art piece was cropped using the next to the largest  Scalloped Contour Dies.  I used the negative as a frame for the piece.  I embossed it using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

I colored the art panel using Old Olive and Misty Moonlight ink using Blending Brushes.  I stamped some of the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set and cropped some from the Honeybee Blooms Dies.  I colored all using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Poppy Parade, So Saffron, Highland Heather, and Soft Succulent.

I arranged the flowers on the art panel, took a picture so I would remember the arrangement, then adhered them to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored a length of a scrap of ribbon with a Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker, making a bow after drying.  I thought being an alcohol marker it would dry very quick, I found that out by getting the ink on my fingers.  I made a bow and popped it over the flowers on the art panel.  I popped the art panel back into the negative portion that is the frame.  This is a good way to save card stock if you are cropping a piece, use the negative portion and it looks like an added layer.

The greeting is from a stamp set I received for OnTour so I am not sure about showing it.  I stamped it in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock then fussy cut it to match the shape of the greeting. Using a Blending Brush I brushed Misty Moonlight ink over the greeting.  Using a Wink of Stella pen, I flicked the clear Stella over the card from giving it sparkle, you can see it in certain spots on the card front, all to do with the light shining on the card.   I put Wink of Stella all over the bee and popped him at the top of the flowers.

I cropped another panel of Basic White card stock and colored it as I had colored the art piece for the card front.  I stamped the greeting in Memento Black ink along with the flower.  I colored the flower using So Saffron and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A medium Basic White envelope gets stamped with stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set to the envelope flap using Old Olive ink.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ UP! Ranunuculus Romance Hello Card

Stampin’ UP! Ranunuculus Romance Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance stamp set.

My challenge for today with the Global Design Project.

My card base is Basic White card stock, to the card base I added a panel of Pattern Party DSP, this is one of the Hostess gives you can receive free with a qualified purchase.  I colored a panel of Vellum using the Polished Pink ink pad to create a border for the panel of Pattern Party DSP.

I stamped the rose image from the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance stamp set on a panel of Shimmery White card stock after coloring the rose using a Polished Pink Stampin’ Write Marker for the rose and a Soft Succulent Stampin’ Write Marker for the leaves and stems.  Dots were stamped in Smoky Slate ink around the rose using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.

Three Pearl Basic Jewels are colored using a Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker.  They are popped around the rose on the art piece.  A greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of the Shimmery White card stock and cropped using a die from the Ranunculus Dies.  The art panel is then adhered to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock, matted on a panel of the Pattern Party DSP and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the New Horizon DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thinking of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thinking of You Card

The card I m sharing today is a cheery one created using the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set.  Have you ever purchased a bundle you thought and when you receive it, it is only the stamp set because you put in the stamp set # instead of the bundle?  This seems to be a habit with me recently.

One of my challenges is with 613 Avenue Create.

The other is Crafting Happiness Challenges — Always Anything Goes

On a panel of Basic White card stock using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set and Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink create an area where you will stamp the flower stamp using Soft Suede ink.  This is an easy way to color flowers without having to use Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, or Watercolor Pencils.  I stamped the Daffodil Delight ink off once and the Old Olive ink off twice before stamping on the Basic White card stock.

After you have stamped the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive inks forming a background for your flowers, stamp the flowers in Soft Suede ink. Using the dot stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set and Soft Suede ink, stamp the dots around the flowers and colored area.

Several Brushed Brass Butterflies are scattered around the card front along with Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The card base is Daffodil Delight card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder.  It is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The art piece with an Old Olive mat is adhered after and Old Olive bow is popped on the bottom of the art panel.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set is stamped in Old Olive ink in the upper left corner.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set is stamped in Old Olive ink and flowers are stamped in the lower corner.  The flowers are colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker from the Brights Collection and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers from the Regals Collection then stamped on the Basic White panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the 6″ x 6″ DSP assortment applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thinking of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thinking of You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set.  I know I could have used dies to cut the lighthouse and sailboats but I fussy cut them.  I also used Stampin’ Up! A Good Man and On The Horizon. I love, love this DSP.  It makes for such easy, simple cards.

I am entering this challenge again, as I have another fun fold card for today.

Also, the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge.  The color of the flowers on the mantle and the nautical picture on the wall or that is what it looks like to me, are my inspiration.

The card base is Basic White card stock cut at 5-1/2″ x 10″.  I do not know if there is a bridge fold that size but I want a larger one than the ones I have made before.  This one is the bridge fold without the bridge.  Score at 1/1/2″ and 3″ on both ends of the card stock. I find it easier to score that way.

Cut eight mats 1-3/8″ x 5-1/4″ from Blackberry Bliss card stock. Cut two pieces 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″. This is the mat for the middle piece on front and back of the card.

Cut four pieces of the New Horizon DSP 1-1/4″ x 5-1/8″ from the design I have on the card front and four pieces from the panel of DSP I used on the back of the card.  Cut one piece 3-3/8″ x 5-1/8″ for the middle panel.  Stamp a greeting from the On The Horizon stamp set in Night of Navy ink.

Stamp birds in Night of Navy ink on all the panels, I used the stamps from Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home and Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp sets.  Cut a piece of Basic White card stock 3-3/8″ x 5-1/8″ for the sentiment panel on the card back.  Stamp a sentiment in Night of Navy ink using a stamp from On the Horizon stamp Set.  Adhere all the Blackberry Bliss panels and the DSP together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhere to the card base.

Stamp an image from Stampin’ Up! A Good Man stamp set, stamp the lighthouse from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy ink, stamp one of the sailboats in Blackberry Bliss, the other in Night of Navy ink.  Using watercolor pencils and a Blender Pen color the man and sailboats.  Using a Blending Brush and Night of Navy ink color the lighthouse.  Fussy cut all images once colored and pop on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensonials and Mini Glue Dots.  To get the color I wanted for the man’s shirt, I used several different colors of watercolor pencils to achieve this color.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of New Horizon DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
