Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Double Pillar Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Potted Geraniums stamp set for the greeting.

My challenge for today is with Allsorts Challenge — their theme for this challenge is make your own background and I made my own by stamping Mossy Meadow leaves on a panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.

The card base is a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ Pear Pizzazz card stock. On the long side score at 3/8″ 7/8″ 1-3/8″ and 1-7/8, 6-3/8″, 6-7/8″, 7-3/8″ and 7-7/8″. Turn on the short side and cut at 2″. This will become the second pillar that creates the bridge. Fold on each score line and burnish with your bone folder. On the 3/8″ score fold add Multipurpose Liquid Glue, folding at the second scored line fold down to the card base. This will create the pillar.

A panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper is stamped with a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink. Put it aside to be adhered later. Flowers are fussy cut from a panel of Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and colored using Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Two flower pots are stamped using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Potted Geranium stamp set using Soft Suede ink. They are cropped using a die from Geranium Dies. They will be popped on the bridge using Stampin’ Dimensionals after the flowers are added to the pots.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Potted Geraniums is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped with a die from Geranium Dies.

Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. Using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set and Mossy Meadow ink, stamp the leaves randomly around the panel after you stamp the sentiment. Adhere the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Sun PrintsDesigner Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Birthday Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Dies, Sun Print Designer Series Paper, and Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

Since my card is butterflies, I thought the Just Us Girls Challenge would be a good one for today. Their theme is Butterflies.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper is cut and then adhered over the embossed panel level a border on the right edge.

Butterflies are cropped from Basic White card stock using dies from the Brilliant Wings Dies. The butterflies are popped on the card front. Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers are popped on each butterfly. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A panel of the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper is adhered to the inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink. The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Forest Friends

This is the card I am sharing today. It is a bridge fold without a bridge, so does that make it a bridgeless fold? I used Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper to create. The Designer Series Paper did all the work. The greeting and sentiment are from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Song Birds stamp set. The greeting is stamped in Soft Suede ink just below the bird, so I feel this greeting is perfect for this card.

My challenge for today is with Festive Friday Challenge — I choose the owl, texture, brown, and woodland as my choice.

This is the way the card looks opened up all the way. I started with a 5-1/2″ x 10″ Soft Suede card stock card base. I scored the Soft Suede card stock on each end at 1-1/2″ and 3″. I used Calypso Coral for the mats. You can see the card cuts at the end of the post. I fussy cut an owl on a stump from a piece of the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper and popped it in the corner using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Three Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped around the card also.

This is the back side of the card with the sentiment. I fussy cut the tree from a panel of the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper and adhered to the Basic White Panel. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set in Soft Suede ink. I didn’t stamp Happy Birthday as I want to write that myself as I will also write a note.

This is the way the card looks when it is closed. It will fit in a regular envelope, no need for a special size or to make one. It may seem that way as the size is 5-1/2″ x 10″.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper applied to envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is a birthday card for my great grandson who has a birthday on Sunday. His room is done in all forest animals so I think this card is perfect for him.

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea

The card shared today is created using Stampin’ Up! Tea Boutique DSP, Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds stamp set and 2022-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper.

I am entering the challenge at the Creative Creases Challenge. It is always a fun fold.

This is how the card looks closed. The card base is Parakeet Party card stock. You can see the diagram of how the card base is cut at this link.

This is the belly band for the card. This was a request from a friend who requested a card for her friend’s 80’s birthday. She requested teacups and ballons be the theme. Dots from Glossy Dots Assortment are popped around the belly band.

Open the card and you find 2022-2023 In Color DSP and ballons. A birthday greeting created on the computer and cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies is adhered to the middle panel. Another greeting is stamped and cropped using another die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, my friend brought this stamp set and I forgot to write the set down the name. Dots from Glossy Dots Assortment are popped around the greeting.

This is a combination of a Happy Birthday and Appreciation Card. The sentiments are from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds stamp set. Balloons are punched using a ballon punch from card stock and DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets DSP from Tea Boutique DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set, Chic Dies, and Textured Chic DSP.

My challenge for the day is with the Freshly Made Sketches.

I started with a piece of Soft Succulent card stock for my card base. I added a panel of Pool Party next then a panel of Texture Chic DSP. Across the DSP a banner of Pool Party card stock is added .

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from the Chic Dies. A flower from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set is stamped in Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sorbet ink. A leaf from the Season of Chic stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. A snowflake if cropped using a die from the Chic Dies.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and fussy cut and popped on the left side of the card front. Dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment are popped around the art piece and one is popped in the center of the snowflake.

A sentiment is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White card stock panel. A leaf is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink in the lower corner. A small strip of the same DSP as on the front of the card is adhered to the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Texture Chic DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
