Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings with Irresistible Blooms — Hooray It’s Your Day

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings with Irresistible Blooms — Hooray It’s Your Day

I have created an easy fun fold to share with you today. This is probably one of the easiest card I have ever created.  The Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper did most of the work along with butterflies that I had cropped earlier using a butterfly die from Brilliant Wings Dies.

It has been a while since I entered Double Trouble Challenge, somehow it was deleted from my list, happy I had a note from someone to remind me.

I am also entering the Creative Creases Challenge as that is one of the requirements for the Double Trouble Challenge.  Happy 2nd Birthday to Creative Creases.

I am entering the Allsorts Challenge as their challenge is Wings and I have butterflies on my card.

I stamped a greeting from  Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set on pieces of Basic White card stock in Memento Black ink.  I cut a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper in 3 pieces and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I then cut a solid colored piece from the same package of Designer Series Paper adhering it also using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The butterflies are popped over this piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Framed Floret with Graceful Tiles and Hues of Happiness

Stampin’ Up! Framed Floret with Graceful Tiles and Hues of Happiness

Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper makes for a gorgeous card.  I used the Designer Series Paper, but I could have used the stamp set for this one.  The stamp set has beautiful stamps that make a beautiful card. I also used a die from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora Dies, the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I used a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Graceful Tiles stamp set for the greeting.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for this card.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, embossing a panel of Basic White card stock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Dies.  I adhered the cropped panel to the Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I embossed a Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper panel using a Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I then adhered the embossed panel over the panel cropped using a die from Two-Tone Dies.

I fussy cut flowers and leaves from a panel of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper arranged and popped them on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Using Basic White Twine I created a double bow and popped it on the corner of the flowers using a glue dot.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Graceful Tiles stamp set is stamped in Polished Pink ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, adhered to a scrap of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, fussy cut again, and finally popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set is stamped in Polished Pink ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered one of the fussy cut flowers and leaves from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper in the lower corner of the panel.  The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Stampin’ Up! Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms

The card I am sharing today is one created with a new product available on March 1 to customers.  One advantage of being a demonstrator is to get to pre-order items that will soon be released.  As with all new products, everyone gets excited about creating new cards, if you check on Pinterest and other sites you will see the same design card from 10 people, I suppose in the beginning there are just a few ideas for cards flying around, later on you start seeing more and more designs that are different.  My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and Dies.

I started with a Blushing Bride card base, adding a piece (yes, I still have it) of Pretty Peacock card stock as the mat for the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.

Using a die from Irresistible Blooms Dies I cropped a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using Versa Mark ink I stamped a flower from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set on a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper, I sprinkled White Embossing Powder over the image and set it with a heat tool.  I fussy cut it along with two others from a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper.

Leaves are stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a piece of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper and fussy cut and adhered to the flowers using Glue Dots.  I also cropped leaves from a piece of the same Designer Series Paper and sponged them with a sponge dauber using Evening Evergreen ink.  I popped three Loose Frosted Dots on the card front using Glue Dots.  I also popped three Iridescent Basic Pearl Jewels on the card front.

I adhered a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper to a piece of Pretty Peacock car stock, adhering the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy with Dainty Delight

Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy with Dainty Delight

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set, a free Sale-A-Bration item with a qualifying order and Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set.  It is called a screen divider fun fold card.  I have made this card several time.  I believe it was the first fun fold I made 15 years ago when I started making Stampin’ Up! cards.

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Blushing Bride card stock. I scored at 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″, and 8-1/4″.  This creates the panel for the screen.  I use one of my punches which is long retired I am sure, but you can use any punch to create the feet for the screen.

I cut Pool Party card stock into (4) 2-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ and Shimmery White card stock into (4) pieces 2-3/8″ x 4-3/4″.  The Pool Party pieces are for the mats for each of the Shimmery White card stock pieces.

Images from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set and Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink onto the Shimmery White card stock panel. The flowers on the front panel are colored using Pool Party and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. The flowers on three of the panels are colored using Rich Razzleberry, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue Watercolor Pencils.

The greetings are from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set and are stamped in Memento Black ink on pieces of Shimmery White card stock.  They are cropped using a die from Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The die is larger than I want for the greeting so you can see in the two photos above how I placed them on the greeting to crop to the size I wanted.

The sentiment in the final panel is from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set and is stamped in Memento Black ink.  The spray of flowers at the top of the panel is from Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set.  The image is colored using the same color Watercolor Pencils as previously used on the other panels.

The second panel of the screen divider fun fold card get a Blushing Bride bow created using a scrap of Blushing Bride twine.  It is applied with a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue was used to adhere the bow to the panel.  Multipurpose Liquid Glue is used to adhere all the panels together and to the card base.  Brushed Metallic Butterflies are scattered around the four panels.

A  Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Potted Geraniums stamp set for one of the sentiments, Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Piggy for the greeting, Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets for one of the sentiments, and Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch for the last sentiment.  Usually, if I find a card I like on Pinterest or other places, I will save the card, but the one I saw that had this Designer Series Paper, I forgot to save and have been unable to find it to give the person credit for using the same Designer Series Paper and hearts.  I am sure I will come across it some time, things have a way of showing up on the internet long after you have seen them.

I am barely making this challenge, but happy I made it. It is the Sunday Stamps Challenge and their theme for this challenge is Let’s Celebrate.  I always like challenge that include hearts, as I used to have quite a collection of hearts collected over the years.

I started with a Blushing Bride card stock card base. I know Petal Pink is the color listed on the pack of Designer Series Paper, but I think the Blushing Bride card stock goes best with this panel of the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper.  I cut a panel of the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper and matted it on strips of Gold Fold as I only had a small piece of the Gold Foil, but it worked and the mat looks great.

I added the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I then added a strip of the same Designer Series Paper but in a different pattern on the card front.  I stamped hearts on Blushing Bride card stock and a different pattern of the Designer Series Paper.   I sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder over the Versa Mark ink and heat embossed using my heat tool. I fussy cut the hearts even though I have the punch using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet stamp set and Versa Mark ink. These hearts are popped over the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I popped three Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems on the card front.  I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Piggy on a label that comes in the Season of Chic Memories & More Card Pack. I wrapped two loops of Linen Thread around and placed the greeting label over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A panel of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper is applied to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A panel of Basic White card stock gets sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Potted Geranium stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set stamped in Pool Party and Blushing Bride inks. The Basic White panel gets applied over the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A  Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Everyone have a great weekend.  I think the sun may shine here.  It has been a beautiful day here today and though I live in Georgia, the sky is Carolina blue as my FIL always said.  Maybe all the sunshine will help this horrible Bronchitis with this lovely cough.  I am never sick, only life-threatening things happen to me, but recently Shingles and now Bronchitis.  I must not be drinking my daily ritual of vinegar & pineapple juice is all I can think.
