Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin 10 Years of Growth

Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin 10 Years of Growth

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you have had a blessed day.

Today I am sharing four of the cards I created using March 2023 Paper Pumpkin, 10 Years of Growth.  I did a littler altering of the four cards I am showing, I have more to make and will show at a later date.

I used an Orchid Oasis card stock card base.  I cut the card into two pieces adhering the card front to the Orchid Oasis card base.  Adding an Orchid Oasis card base is about the only thing I did to this card other than adding sequins to the front.

I gave this one an Orchid Oasis card base also.  This one is an anniversary card.

This one has a Shaded Spruce card base.  I created the front to look as if you are looking out a window with curtains. I added a linen bow on each side of the curtains using Linen Thread.

This card has a Polished Pink card base. I turned the background panel vertically instead of horizontally as in the directions with Paper Pumpkin.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends

Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends

The card I am sharing today is a birthday card I have created for my grandson’s birthday.  I believe the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends stamp set & Dies makes a perfect birthday card for a guy.  The blue gingham can be for a man’s blue gingham shirt.  This card is a CAS of Amy Koender’s.  When she posted this card a month or so ago, I knew I want to have a card like this for my grandson’s birthday.

I am entering the Seize The Birthday Challenge — their optional theme is Things in a Garden.  Even though I do not have Happy Birthday on my card it is because I want to write a personal birthday message to my grandson, I knew this design from Amy Koender’s is perfect for a man’s birthday card.

My card base is Balmy Blue card stock.  A panel of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper is cut and matted on a panel of Basic White card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The Country Gingham panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Two different ovals are die-cut from Basic White card stock using two dies from Stampin’ up! Framed Floret Dies.  The ovals are adhered one over the other using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set is stamped in Soft Suede ink on a piece of Basic White card stock then die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.

I stamped the bird nest, bird, and tree branch in Tuxedo Memento ink onto Basic White card stock, colored using Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I die-cut the bird nest, bird, and tree branch using Dies from Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Dies.  They are then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots are popped around the card front.  Since I called the Country Gingham a man’s shirt the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots can be the buttons on the shirt.

I die cut a bird nest from Crumb Cake and So Suede card stock adhering them together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I then adhered the bird nest over the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper strip adhered at the bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I die cut three bird eggs coloring using a Balmy Blue Watercolor Pencil.  I adhered the three eggs in the bird nest using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Granny Apple Green leaves are popped around the bird nest. There is still plenty of room on the sentiment page to write a Happy Birthday message to my grandson.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Regency Park with Irresistible Blooms

Stampin’ Up! Regency Park with Irresistible Blooms

The card I am sharing today is created using Regency Park Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and dies, and Enjoy The Adventure Memories and More Card Pack.

I am entering the AAA Birthday Card Challenge as my card can be considered stripes as I have cut piece of different Designer Series Paper to create the stripes.

My card base is Basic White card stock.  I embossed half of a panel of Basic White card stock using one of the embossing folders from  Let’s Celebrate Embossing Folders.

I cut different size strips from Regency Park Designer Series Paper and adhered to the embossed panel.  I cropped  a circle using the lacy circle die from Irresistible Blooms Dies from Basic White card stock.  I adhered over the Regency Park Designer Series strips.

I fussy cut flowers and leaves from a panel of the Regency Park Designer Series Paper.  I adhered the flowers around the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.  I popped the greeting on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Basic Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker.  They are then popped around the card front.

I adhered a panel of Regency Park Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope.

Stampin’ Up! He’s The Man — Awesome

Stampin’ Up! He’s The Man — Awesome

The card I am sharing today is created using multiple stamp sets, Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbird stamp set, and This Birthday Piggy stamp set along with He’s The Man Designer Series Paper.  This is an easy, easy card and a great way to use up that Designer Series Paper that will soon retire.  Even though this is an easy simple card it has taken the day to get it finished, too many distractions. In fact, I believe I started it yesterday.  I think I need a time management person.😊

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.

My card base is Sahara Sand card stock.  I then cut a piece of He’s the Man Designer Series Paper 4″ x 11″

I scored the piece at 1″, 4″, and 8″.  The 1″ score line is folded as a valley fold as it fold back onto the 4″ fold which is a mountain fold, the last fold will be a valley fold also.  I used one of the stickers from the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper to pop on the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On the next panel, I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies. The next panel get a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set stamped in Cajun Craze ink and cropped using a circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  I popped an arrow from the sticker set in He’s The Man Designer Series Paper so the person receiving would know there is more.

Follow the arrow and you will find this, the inside of the card.  I used a piece of Dandy Design Designer Series Paper, no longer available as a mat for the inside sentiments.  The top sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Greatest  Journey stamp set and is stamped in Sahara Sand ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and adhered to the top portion of the panel,  the middle one is from He’s The Man Designer Series Paper, and the last one at the bottom is from Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Piggy stamp set.

I adhered a panel of He’s The Man Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Hello

Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Hello

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set and the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set.  This is a card I saw from Brandy Cox.

This challenge goes well with my card today, as there are always lots of bees in the Spring.

I am also entering the Creative Creases Challenge as it is always a fun fold and my card is a fun fold today.

I started with a piece of Basic White card stock 8-1/2″ x 11″  scored at 4-1/4″ on the short side and 5-1/2″ on the long side.  On the 8-1/2″ side cut down the score line to the 5-1/2″ score line. The piece cut out can be used to cut the 2-1/2 x 3″ piece for the inside sentiment.  This will be the card base. I stamped the Queen Bee from Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set in Versa Mark, sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder and heat embossed using a heat tool.  I cropped the bee using a die from Queen Bee Dies.  I stamped in Mossy Meadow ink the flower spray from Stampin’ Up!  Queen Bee stamp set.  I used Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to color.  I cropped flowers, twigs, sprigs, and leaves from Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set from Old Olive and Mossy Meadow card stock.  I cropped one leaves bunch from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.   I stamped a bee from Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set and colored using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  All of these will be arranged on the card front and inside once the card base is finished.

  1.  Cut 3-1/4″ off the bottom of the card front.  From the piece cut off, cut five 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ strips.  Cut the strip that is left in half, this gives you two strips that will be used to anchor the other strips together.
  2.   With the sticky side out adhere a piece of Washi Tape to the middle of the card front so you can position the strips on the card front.
  3. Start at the bottom for the first strip, next place a strip at the top, leaving a space between the strip and the card base.  Place a strip in the middle.
  4. Wait until you have all the strips positioned before pressing down on the tape. If you need to adjust the space between the strips it will be easier to do if they are not stuck tight to the Washi Tape.
  5. Place a dot of Liquid Glue on each strip and place one of the two strips left over the glue and press down.     I waited until I had both strips in place so I could adjust if necessary.
  6. Turn the over so the Washi Tape is showing and gently remove the tape. Pressing down on each strip as you pull the tape will help prevent tearing the card stock.
  7. This is how the card front looks after you have finished with all the strips and trimming the excess from the bottom of the card.

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and stamped it in Cajun Craze ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set.  I  scored the piece at 4-1/4″ and cut from the score line to the corner, then wrapped the piece around the card front into the inside.  This is for a gift card or whatever you choose to place in the pocket.

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock 3-18″ x 3-7/8″ for a mat for the 2-1/2″ x 3″ Basic White piece.  On the Basic White piece, I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink.  These are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered to the card base using the same.

I stamped a strip of Daffodil Delight card stock in Cajun Craze ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set.  I adhered the strip to a Medium Basic White envelope and trimmed the excess from the flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
