Stampin’ Up! Zoo Crew — Happy Birthday

I was searching Pinterest for a cute card for a 2 year old great-grandson when I happened upon this cute card that Patty Bennett created. She So this is the card I am sharing today created using Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. The greeting and sentiment are from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbird stamp set.

My card base is Parakeet Party card stock. It is a one piece base as Patty Bennett’s 2-4-6-8 Fun Fold sit atop the base. The fun fold is a 5-1/4″ x 12″ piece of the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. It is scored at 2″ 4″ 6″ and 8″. I stamped music notes in Memento Black ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set.

The 2″ panels are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to create the two short folds. You can exact instructions in Patty’s video. I die cut 4 circle from Parakeet Party card stock using Layering Circle Dies. I die cut two Basic White circle using a die from the same dies. I die cut three of the little animals from Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper using one of the dies. These were adhered to the Parakeet Party card stock circles using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped a greeting and sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set and adhered the circle to the Parakeet Party circle. You can see in the photo above how I adhered the circles to the card base. I just realized I forgot to add any bling.

A piece of Basic White card stock is added to the center of the inside for signing the card.

A piece of the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper is adhered to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons — Happy Birthday

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set and Dies. My card is a double easel. I saw a triple easel and will have to try it next. I also used Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper.

I am entering the Seize the Birthday — Anything Goes Challenge.

Starry Sky card stock
- card base measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 5-1/2″
Parakeet Party card stock
- double easel portion 4″ x 10-1/4″ score at 2-1/2″ & 5″
Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
- background — (1) 3-3/4″ x 5″, (2) 2-1/4′ x 3-3/4″

Adhere the Parakeet Party card stock to the Starry Sky card stock. You can see the card above. The Parakeet Party section will create the easel. Adhere the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper to the Parakeet Party card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue for all.

I die cut balloons from 2022-2024 In Color Textured Specialty Paper, Berry Burst card stock, and Gold Celebrations. I die cut stars from Silver Foil. The greeting tag is die cut from a piece of Starry Sky. On the tag I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Versa Mark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.

This is the way the card looks when it is opened. I also put Designer Series Paper on the inside of the easel fold.

This is the way the card looks partly closed. I popped sequins from Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins around the card front. The Happy Birthday greeting is stamped in Versa Mark ink, Silver Embossing Powder is sprinkled over the ink and heat embossed using a heat tool.

I stamped balloons in Real Red, Parakeet Party, and Tahitian Tide ink on the Basic White card stock panel. A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set is stamped in Starry Sky ink.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake — Celebrate!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set. I also used the Scalloped Contour Dies and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for today.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base. I die cut a panel of Basic White card stock using the next to the largest die in Scalloped Contour Dies. It is matted on a panel of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped images from Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set that make up the milkshake by stamping the milkshake glass in Old Olive ink, one layer of the ice cream is stamped in Moody Mauve ink, the other in Bubble Bath ink, the cherry and straw are stamped in Real Red ink. I used the Share A Milkshake Dies to die cut after stamping. The grid piece behind the milkshake glass is die cut from a piece of Moody Mauve card stock.

I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments and Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. A bowl of ice cream is arranged in the lower corner. The panel is matted on a piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo — Celebrate!

I have a fun card that I am sharing today. It is created using Zany Crew Designer Series Paper. It makes for a cute fun card birthday card.

My card design is inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I fussy cut my little musical quartet from Zany Crew Designer Series Paper. I also cut three strips of different patterns for my stage for my little quartet to sing Happy Birthday.

I fussy cut the music notes and popped around the band. Oh! Yes! it was such fun to fussy cut such tiny pieces. I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a sentiment and music notes from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. I adhered three little bits of Zany Crew Designer Series Paper at the bottom of the panel and fussy cut another musician and placed him as if he is popping up from behind the tiny stage to play his flute. I also stamped music notes by him.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of the Zany Crew Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons — Celebrate!

Happy Friday to all! I know most people are gearing up for Father’s Day celebration since this is Father’s Day week-end! Are fathers as celebrated as mothers are? Maybe, I feel they are not as I never really knew my dad. I had a step-dad, but no relationship, so I always just say I was fatherless. There are many out here who are just like me. If you have a loving, caring dad, who has always been there for you, you are blessed beyond measure so cherish him on this day that gives honor to him.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set. I purchase this during pre-order but have never used. You know how sometimes you look at a stamp set and say later, then it gets later and later. I also use the Merry Melody 3d Embossing Folder. My card is a pop out fun fold.

My instructions on the photo may be a little small so I will give them here again. I started with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Basic White piece of card stock. I scored at 4-1/4″. I used a die from Deckled Rectangle Dies to die cut the opening in the card. It is probably best to die cut before you fold, but I folded then open the piece back up to die cut. In the photo it seems as if I placed the die on the folded card but you can see from the photo below how it looks.

This is a photo of the card opening with the piece die cut from it. This piece will be used to create your pop-out. Below are a few pictures demonstrating creating the pop-out.

The fold for the pop-out 5-12″ x 6-1/4″ Score at 2″ & 4″ Put adhesive of choice on the two edges of the mountain fold on the right. I used glue dots for this sample.
Adhere to the inside as shown in the photo. I left a tiny border instead of adhering all the way te edge.
The hinges – cut 3/4″ x 3″ score at 1-1/2 cut (2). I cut one piece 1-1/2″ x 3″ after adhered Tear & Tape, I cut down the middle to make the 3/4″ piece. Adhere the hinges to the corners as shown. Tape will be face up to stick the other side.
Adhere the dark piece to the card front by closing the card front over the two hinges.

Close card and adhere Tear & Tape as shown in #7. Adhere the piece left from die cutting to create the opening. The piece will only be adhered on one side so the other one will be free when you open the card.

I stamped three balloons, the large one in Real Red ink, the small one in Parakeet ink. I die cut the medium one from Tahitian Tide card stock and embossed using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloon stamp set, Versa Mark ink and a heat tool. The card front is embossed using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.

A greeting is stamped around the balloons after they are arranged on the card front. In Color Pearls are popped on the card front.

Sentiments in Parakeet Party ink and Tahitian Tide ink are stamped on the inside panels using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set.

Three balloons are stamped on the Basic White envelope flap using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons and Real Red, Parakeet Party, and Tahitian Tide inks.
