Stampin’ Up! By My Side — Celebrate

Our great-granddaughter’s birthday is tomorrow, so I made this cute card for her using Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set.

I am entering the Krafty Chicks Challenge for this card.

I used Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper for the background with a Cajun Craze card stock mat and a Basic White card stock card base.

I stamped all the images on the card front from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set. They are stamped in Memento Black ink and colored using Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake, Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. I wrapped a length of Copper Clay ribbon around the card to give the impression of a sidewalk. The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink. Adhesive Backed Solid Gems are popped on the flowers and as buttons down the front of the girl’s dress.

As this is a tent card that will stand without collapsing because of the added bridge. The bridge is adhered to each side of the card to give it support to stand easily.

This is the back of the card, as you can not open the card. I used pieces of Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper to create the grass & flower area and the sky. The sentiments from Stampin’ Up! A Grand Kid are stamped in Cajun Craze ink. The dogs are from old Designer Series Paper that I have a few scraps of. I do not remember the name. The balloons are die cut using a die from Beautiful Dies.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches — Happy Birthday

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches stamp set, along with Stampin’ Up! In The Moment stamp set, Timeless Arrangements stamp set, and Scenic Wonders stamp set. I also used Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper.

I am entering Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

The card base is Copper Clay card stock. You can see in the photo above how to score and cut the base to create the card.

This is how the card looks once folded.

All card cuts are at the end of the post. This is how the card looks with all the Designer Series Paper add. The Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper was a bit stark with the white daisies on the Copper Clay card base so I colored the daisies using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. The small pieces embossed using Twigs and Sprigs 3D Embossing Folder are the reverse side of the piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper that I used.

For the art piece on the card front, I stamped images from Stampin’ up! Seasoned Branches stamp set in Boho Blue ink for the flowers and colored the flowers using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. The branch is stamped in Copper Clay ink. The bird is stamped in Early Espresso ink and colored using Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. The bird is popped on with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches stamp set is stamped in Boho Blue ink. Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped on the art piece. I tied a length of ribbon from Copper and Natural Ribbon Combo Pack around the card to hold it together better when folded. You will see that the first and last photos has the ribbon in different positions on the card front.

This is how the card looks when it is opened to stand up. Will make a great display on table or mantle.

This is a view from another angle. The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set and is stamped in Boho Blue ink on the Basic White piece. The branch and flowers are from Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches stamp set and Copper Clay ink is used to stamp the branch. The flowers are stamped in Boho Blue ink and colored using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. The sentiment piece is matted on a Boho Blue card stock mat and adhered to the panel so it will not show when the card is closed. The panel it is adhered to also opens to show and sentiment. Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped on the piece.

The Basic White card stock panel gets flowers stamped to match the flowers on the card front. A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! In The Moment stamp set is stamped in Boho Blue ink along with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Scenic Wonders stamp set.

A Basic White envelope a piece of Copper Clay card stock that has been embossed using the Twigs and Sprigs Embossing Folder. .

Welcome to the monthly Fun Folds Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!!

We have a great lineup of talented crafters for you today, who enjoy creating fun folds. If you love fun folds, I am hoping you find inspiration and enjoyment so much that you will be inspired to join us next time. You are in for a treat with all the talented demonstrators participating. You can find that list located at the end of the post about my card creation.

The card I am sharing today for our Blog Hop is created using Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck stamp set and Dies. This is a fun Fun Fold. The person who receives it will certainly get a chuckle when they see it. My card today is a CASe of Kathi Ondus’ card. Click on her name and you can see her video. Kathi is one of the talented ladies in today’s Blog Hop.

This Fun Fold is really like two cards in one. The regular size card and a smaller one inside. I started with Crumb Cake as the base for the regular size card. To this I added a panel of Copper Clay card stock embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. A piece of Basic White card stock has a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck stamp set stamped at the top using Early Espresso ink.

I stamped, colored and die cut all the pieces needed to create this card. I used Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Copper Clay, Bronze, Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon, and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker for coloring. I die cut the sun from a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and adhered it to the top of the Basic White piece. I cut a stump from a scrap of One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper for the rooster to stand on to announce it is morning. I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, matted on a scrap of Daffodil Delight card stock and adhered on the Basic White piece and also the Copper Clay embossed piece. All greetings and sentiments are from Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck stamp set.

The smaller inside card is Basic White embossed on the front using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Usually when I use embossing in my cards, I will emboss a separate piece and adhere to the base. I find it easier to do that, but I felt the added piece would make the card thicker, added thickness is not great for Fun Fold cards. A rooster is added to the card front with one of the stamp set sentiments. I also added a fence, cut from Crumb Cake card stock. I popped Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins on the card.

Open the card up and you will see another rooster. This one is holding a birthday cake and wishing Happy Birthday. The sentiment at the top is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White card stock scrap and matted on a scrap of Copper Clay card stock. It is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The three Happy Birthdays are die cut using a long retired die from Stampin’ Up! Hey Birthday Chick stamp set & Dies. Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck is a great addition to the two other sets with chicks. You can see the dies used to create this section of the card. Again, Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped around the card.

A Basic White envelope flap gets embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. This will match the embossing on the card.

Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow — Blessings

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow Dies, Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings stamp set, Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, and Distress Tile 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge for this card.

I am also entering the NBUS Challenge for this card.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. This embossed piece of card stock is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Three strips of Joy of Christmas Designer Series paper is cut and adhered over the embossed piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The flowers and greenery are die cut from Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow Dies. They are colored with Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce and Stary Sky Stampin Blends Markers. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessing stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, then trimmed to the size needed. The greeting is popped over the designer series paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flowers and greenery are arranged around the greeting using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio are popped on the card front.

I left the sentiment panel blank to write a note but added a bit of Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper and a few stems of flowers.

A Basic White envelope gets two strips of Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I used the two strips to match the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck — Happy Birthday

The card I am sharing today is a fun card I CASed from Dawn Griffith’s Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck stamp set and Dies.

I am entering the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge. I have chosen, birthday, die cuts, stamping.

The card base is Tahitian Tide card stock with 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper as the mat. Below is a photo of how to score and cut the card base.

The card base is 5-1/2″ x 8″ scored at 2″ and 6″ on the 8″ side.
On the 5-1/2″ side come in 1-1/4″ and cut between the score lines from 2″ to 6″.
Turn the piece to the other end and repeat the cut.
Turn to the 8″ side go over 3″ and score from the 1-1/4″ to 4-1/4″.
At the 4″ line score from top to the cut line, then at the bottom cut line to edge of card stock.

From a 6″ x 6″ piece of 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series paper cut the following pieces:

(3) 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″
From one of the 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ pieces
- (4) 1-1/8″ x 1-7/8″

Only one piece of Designer Series Paper is used. Both side are used as you can see in the photo above.

The roosters Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink and colored in Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The sentiments are from Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set. One of the roosters is adhered to the Basic White card stock panel.

A Basic White envelope get one of the rooster stamped on the envelope flap and is colored in the same color as the ones on the card.
