Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom

Happy Friday!  The weekend is here.  I know a bunch of people who are so thrilled that this weekend is finally here.  It is those SU demonstrators that are blessed to be going to Hawaii compliments of SU.  Have fun and don’t overeat.😊

The card I am sharing today is created with the new Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Stamp Set.  This set is a gift from one of our great upline – Amy Koenders. She and Mary Deatherage are the best, we are always getting little gifts and cards from them.  They are always available with their support and help.

My design inspiration is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This is a great sketch.

My card base is Evening Evergreen one of the new 2021-2023 Incolors with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  This is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies is used to crop two Basic White card stock mats from the Hand Penned DSP, then adhered to two corners of the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cut and matted with a panel of the Evening Evergreen card stock.  This is adhered to the center of the card front over the two corner pieces.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Bloom Embossing Folder.  Flirty Flamingo ink is rubbed over the flowers on the embossing folder before embossing.  Once embossed they are fussy cut and the center are colored using a Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Leaves are cropped from Evening Evergreen card stock and Hand Penned DSP using a leaf die from the Bloom Dies.   The flowers and leaves are arranged and popped on the Basic White panel with Linen Thread wrapped around under the flowers a few times. A Ladybug trinket is popped on a flower using Glue Dots.  A dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden DSP is fussy cut and popped on the panel with the flowers.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets a flower and leaves from the Art in Bloom Stamp Set stamped in Flirty Flamingo and Soft Succulent ink stamped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings

Happy middle of the week day! Can you believe it is already that time?  Time flies when you are having fun.  Making cards is always fun.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Dies and the True Love DSP.  It makes for a beautiful card combining the two.

My color inspiration today is compliments of The Paper Players Challenge.

I used Smoky Slate card stock as the card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a piece from the True Love DSP, matted it on Real Red card stock, and adhered over the embossed panel vertically.  The oval that the Thinking of You is stamped on is from my stash so it may have been created using a retired product long ago.  I have quite a stash so you will probably see more in other posts.

Roses from another panel of the True Love DSP are colored using Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and the Basic Gray Watercolor pencil.  The leaves look silver instead of gray, don’t you think, but it makes it very pretty.  I may just have to make another card using these color combinations.  After coloring, they are popped over the oval using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Basic Black card stock butterfly is cropped using one of the dies from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  It is popped over the edge of the oval using a Glue Dot.

The inside panel gets roses colored with the same markers and a butterfly using a Brilliant Wings Dies.

The medium Basic White envelopes get a panel of the same DSP as on the card front added to the flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals

Happy Tuesday, may your day be perfect as can be.

The card I am sharing today is super easy and is created using the skills I learned in kindergarten, isn’t there a book by that name, “All I Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten”?  Fussy cutting!  The only stamping on today’s card is from the greeting.  The remainder is from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals DSP.  The floral panel of small flowers makes for a great background

The design is inspired by the Fab Fri Challenge.

I used one of the new 2021-2023 Incolor card stock, Fresh Freesia, as the card base.  I also used another one, Soft Succulent, as the mat for the floral back panel from Pansy Petals DSP.  These were adhered to the card base.

I cropped a piece of Basic White card stock and a piece of the Soft Succulent card stock using a die from the Tasteful Label Dies. I cut a portion of the Soft Succulent one to make a shadow at the top of the Basic White one.  The Thinking of You greeting from a Paper Pumpkin is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink, this is one of the new incolors also.

Pansies and leaves from the Pansy Petals DSP are fussy cut, the centers get a touch of Wink of Stella and a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewel added to the center of each pansy.  The pansies are then popped on the card front around the greeting panel.  The card front is finished.

The inside panel for writing a note gets a strip of the Pansy Petal DSP applied to the bottom of the Basic White panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day and your family treated you extra special.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, the Stitched With Whimsy  Dies,  the Subtle Embossing Folder, retired but I have a feeling I shall use it often even if that is true.

My inspiration for the layout design today is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  It is a nice clean design.

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and the Stitched with Whimsy Dies.

A panel of the Basic White card stock is cropped with one of the smaller dies from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to be the focal panel for the Real Red poppies created using a stamp from the Flowers Of Friendship Stamp Set.  The poppies are colored using Real Red & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The poppies are fussy cut and popped on the corner of the focal panel.

The greeting is from a Paper Pumpkin kit and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  I cut the words of the greeting apart so I could place them the way I wanted on the focal panel.  The poppies are popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A pearl from the Pearls Basic Jewels is colored with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped above the greeting.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped with the poppies from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and are colored using the same Markers used on the card front.  This panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped on both the envelope front and the envelope flap and colored using the same markers.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Petals

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Petals

The card I am sharing today is created using the Hand Penned Petals Stamp Set from the new May 2021- April 2022 catalog.  I think this set is one of my favorite.  I also used DSP from the Subtles 2021-2022 6″ x 6″ DSP.

My design inspiration comes from the Global Design Project Challenge.

I started with a Mint Macaron card stock card base with a panel of Subtles 2021-2023 6″ x 6″ DSP embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base.  Embossing the panel of the DSP gives it an unusual-looking texture.

A circle is cropped from Basic White card stock and then matted on a Highland Heather card stock circle.  The flowers are from the Hand Penned Petals Stamp Set are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then colored using Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut the flowers and popped on the circle.  Three Pastel Pearls are randomly popped around the circle.

The sentiment panel has flowers from the Hand Penned Petals Stamp Set stamped in Mint Macaron ink on the corner of the panel.  It is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
