Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and Stampin’ Blends Markers. I was looking on Pinterest for a Fun Fold card and I found this one created by Melissa’s Crafting Treehouse.

I chose the daisies and the bees from the Card Concept Challenge as my theme for my card today.

The card base is So Saffron card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Texture Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut the following.

So Saffron Card Base — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
So Saffron card stock Embossed Panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Mossy Meadow card stock–Fun Fold — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 3″, 5-1/2″, 8″ and 9-1/2″ Adhere a length of ribbon colored using a So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Very Vanilla card stock — 3-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ Use Stitched So Sweetly Dies to crop this panel
Dandy Garden DSP — 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
Dandy Garden DSP – back of art panel — 2″ x 3″
Very Vanilla card stock for a single stamp of flowers — 1-1/4″ x 4-1/8″
Very Vanilla card stock sentiment panel — 2-1/4″ x 4-1/8″
Dandy Garden DSP — 2-1/4″ x 4-1/8″″
Very Vanilla Inside Panel — 2-1/4″ x 4-1/8″

Stamp the flowers from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink. Color the flowers in So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The sentiment on the first panel with a sentiment comes from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set. It was too long for the panel so I stamped it in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and cut the line apart and placed it on the panel in a zig-zag design, adding three bees.

A panel of Dandy Garden DSP is adhered to the first panel above. A bee and dragonfly are fussy cut and popped on the panel. The Very Vanilla card stock panel with the sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The flowers are stamped from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set also and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! You’re A Peach

Happy Thursday, I hope your day has been super. These days my blogs are later in the day, I have nurse duty during the day and once home I can create a card and blog.

The card I am sharing today, is made with the skills I learned in kindergarten, you know cut & paste. The only exception is the greeting from the Happy Birthday Chick Stamp Set. I’ve use You’re A Peach and Beauty of The Earth DSP to create this card.

My inspiration design comes from the Tuesday Morning Sketches.

The card base is Pear Pizzazz with a mat of Calypso Coral for the Beauty of the Earth DSP panel. A panel of the You’re A Peach DSP is matted on a panel of Calypso Coral card stock and popped over the Beauty of the Earth DSP panel. A length of Pale Papaya & White ribbon is wrapped all the panels once they were adhered to each other.

Peach blossoms are fussy cut and popped over several of the blossoms on the You’re a Peach DSP panel. Three were cropped using a small circle die, then fussy cut blossoms were popped over the ones on the circles. These were popped just under the edge of the ribbon using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Happy Birthday is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink on a scrap of Pear Pizzazz card stock and flagged on one end and popped over the ribbon using Glue Dots.

A strip of the You’re A Peach DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the bottom of a Basic White card stock panel, then the panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the You’re A Peach DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms

Happy Wednesday! If you have been keeping up with Mary and Amy it looks as if they are having loads of fun, and special treats to eat. They well deserve this fun trip.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Stamp Set. It is a carryover to the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I also use Love You Always DSP, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Meadow Moments Embossing Folder along the the card stock.

My color inspiration comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. I have pink cherry blossoms.

The theme for Make My Monday Challenge is Sympathy. I have made one with the greeting Thinking of You and a lovely sentiment inside.

This will be a fun challenge as it is a fun fold card challenge — Creative Creases Challenge.

The card base is Sahara Sand card stock. This is a fun fold card so there are two score lines to fold. On the front panel, a panel of Blushing Bride card stock is embossed using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder, then adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Two different design panels from Love You Always DSP is adhered to the card base. You can see from the card above where the DSP is adhered.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies two different size panels are cropped using two of the dies. I believe it is the largest and next to the largest. One is from Sahara Sand card stock the other Basic White card stock and this one has the sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

Cherry blossoms are also stamped in the corner and colored using Rococo Rose and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers, along with the color lifter marker. Mine was a bit dry, so I poured a little alcohol in a glass cup and dipped the marker in it then dropped the alcohol on the images of the cherries to get the color I desired.

A loopy bow is made using Basic White twine and popped on one of the flowers stems using Multipurpose Glue Several sequins are placed around the entire card.

Cherry blossoms are also stamped on the panel of Basic White card stock that is adhered to the back panel. They are colored with the same markers as the other blossoms.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Love You Always DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets

Happy Day!

I get to spend the day with my son who has been in the hospital for two weeks. We were not allowed to visit during that time. It is terrible to have someone in the hospital and not get to visit. Happy he is home so that we can visit.

I am sharing the Pampered Pets Stamp Set with you today. I am happy it carried over to the new catalog because this is the first time I have used the stamp set. I’ve used the DSP to make cards before but not the stamp set.

A Printed Label Dies is used to crop a Real Red and Basic White circle. The red and white are adhered together and popped on the card front over the bands.

A dog is fussy cut from one of the panel of the Playful Pets DSP and then popped over the red circle.

My design inspiration comes compliments of the Fusion Card Challenge. I used the design on the left and a dog but no thank you as this is a birthday card for a special person.

I started with a Basic White card stock base adding a panel of Real Red card stock for the mat to the Playful Pets DSP. Two strips of DSP are matted onto Real Red card stock and Basic White card stock and adhered across the card front like a band. A greeting from the Pampered Pets Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock. It is then cropped using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue it is popped on the card front below the circle. A red Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel is adhered to the greeting panel.

A panel of the Playful Pets DSP is cropped using one of the dies from the Curvy Dies, it is then adhered to a panel of Basic White card stock and a sentiment from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink below the cropped panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Playful Pets DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Because I Care

Happy Sunday, I hope you are having a blessed day. We are blessed to get to attend a most important graduation — our great daughter’s pre-school graduation. You know how important those are! I didn’t get to share a card with you before I attended that all-important graduation. I started before we left to try to get this finished, but one thing after another prevented it. I am finally getting to share.

This is a vintage stamp set so if you desire to re-create this card, you can use the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set. You can see the Because I Care Stamp Set below in the product used to create this card.

My design inspiration is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A strip of Basic White card stock is cut and using paper snips flagged at one end. It is then matted on a Highland Heather card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Thinking of you is stamped in Highland Heather ink and the strip is embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered to the card front.

An image from the Because I Care Stamp Set is stamped in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. It is stamped in two parts, first the hydrangea in Highland Heather ink and the leaves in Soft Succulent ink. I fussy cut the hydrangea and popped on the flagged strip. Three 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are randomly placed around the flagged strip.

A hydrangea from the Hydrangea Hill DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the corner of a Basic White card stock panel. it is then adhered inside the card.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hydrangea Hill DSP applied to the envelope flap.
