Stampin’ Up! Inspired Canopy Happy Birthday

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Canopy Happy Birthday

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Thoughts Stamp Set and the Inspiring Canopy Dies along with the Timbers 3-D Embossing Folder.

Happy Birthday is the occasion I am choosing for this Watercooler Wednesday Challenge – it is Marsha’s Challenge: All About Occasions.

The Sisterhood of Crafters theme for this challenge is LEAF it to chance.  I believe my leaf will qualify for that.

Start with a card base of Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder.  This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Cut a piece of Basic White card stock and crop and emboss the small piece at the bottom behind the trees.  Adhere this small embossed piece at the card front bottom over the other embossed panel.

From a panel of the Cork paper crop, the trees from the Inspiring Canopy Dies.  Pop the trees over the embossed card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Crop a few leaves from scraps of Calypso Coral card stock and So Saffron card stock using a die Grapevine Dies.  Pop these leaves around the tree trunk using Mini Glue Dots.  The little bird in the tree is from a left over stash item.

A greeting from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and then fussy cut around the greeting and pop on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.  Both are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

A medium Basic White envelope gets the envelope flap embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Love You Friend

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Love You Friend

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set along with the Scalloped Contour Dies,  the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and the Timber Embossing Folder.

My inspiration for today’s card design is coming from the Just Us Girls Challenge. The theme is black and white.  I believe everyone loves black and white cards, I know I do.

The card base is Basic White card stock embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder.  Usually, I will emboss a separate panel instead of actually embossing the card base.

A panel of Basic Black card stock is cropped using the largest Scalloped Contour Dies.  It is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.  This panel is popped over the card base using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A flower from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A greeting from the same stamp set is also stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  Several Matt Black Dots are scattered randomly around the card front.

A sentiment from the Shaded Summer Stamp set along with the same flower from the card front is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of DSP adhered to the envelope flap.  Did not realize it was not current until I got to this point in my blog.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Sending Hugs

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Sending Hugs

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Handed Penned Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set for the inside sentiment, the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set for the greeting and the Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Dies for the butterflies.

I am playing along with Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.  Anything Goes is the theme.

I started with a Highland Heather card stock card base.  A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped in Versa Mark ink and Gold Embossing powder is sprinkled over the ink.  It is then heat embossed to set the Gold Embossing Powder.

The flowers and leaves are watercolored using Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen inks with a Water Painter.  After coloring, an oval is cropped from the art piece then place back into the negative space using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Two butterflies are cropped using dies from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  They are popped on the card front using Glue Dots.  Three jewels from the 2021-2022 Incolor Jewels are popped around the card front.  The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink using stamps from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set.  I fussy cut around each word and popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White panel.  Flowers from the Hand Penned Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black in and then colored.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the plaid DSP from the Hand Penned DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! All For Baby

Stampin’ Up! All For Baby

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! All For Baby Stamp Set along with the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder, Bloom Where You Are Planted SP, and In The Wild DSP.

The CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge is my inspiration for the design.  I rotated the design and created it as landscape instead of portrait.

The card base is Crumb Cake card stock.  A panel of Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP is embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder. Two lengths of Linen Thread are used to make the clothesline for the baby clothes.  It is adhered on each end using a Mini Glue Dot.  The panel is then adhered to the Crumb Cake base.  The greeting is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake card stock then cropped using one of the Tasteful Label Die.

Two of the onesies are cropped from two different panels of In The Wild DSP.  The third onesie is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  The bear is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on a scrap of  Basic White card stock.  After the cropping and stamping, the onesies and bear are popped on the card front so they will appear as if they are hanging on a clothesline..Four clothespins are cropped from Crumb Cake and popped above each item so it will appear as if they are being held with a clothespin.

The inside sentiment panel is a panel of the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP.  A sentiment from the All For Baby Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Succulent ink onto the panel.  The panel is then popped on the card base.   Wonderful Gems are popped on the card front in various spots.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the plaid DSP from the In The Wild DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts

The card I am sharing today is created using the Peaceful Place DSP and the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.

The sketch challenge with Tuesday Morning Sketches is my inspiration for this card.

This is a simple card to make, also easy, and took only a short while to put the pieces together.  It was all cutting and embossing except for the greeting from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.

The card base is Smoky Slate card stock with a panel of Basic Black card stock embossed using a Stitched With Whimsy Die and popped on the card base after the other layers are added. A panel of Peaceful Place DSP is adhered over the Basic Black panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

From a different panel of the Peaceful Place DSP a square of the DSP is cut and then embossed using a small die from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies.  This small square is matted on a square of Basic Black and popped on the plaid panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A length of Real Red Sheer Ribbon is placed behind the panel before it is popped on the plaid panel.  Cute Star Sequins are popped around the trees.

Another panel of the Peaceful Place DSP is cut and a little of it is fussy cut before being matted onto a Basic Black mat.  It is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A sentiment will be added later.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the plaid DSP from the Peaceful Place DSP adhered to the envelope flap.
