Amazing Life

Amazing Life

The stamp set I am using today is Amazing Life and that is the stamp set featured this week for the What Would You Stamp challenge.

I am playing along with the What Would You Stamp

And..   Paper Craft Crew Card Stamps.  Inspiration comes from both.

The card base is Whisper White with a Whisper White mat that has been embossed with the Country Floral Textured Impression Embossing Folder (TIEF).

A banner cut from one of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (free with $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration) is adhered using Liquid Glue.

The cake of the art piece is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a square of Whisper White that has been cut using the Layering Square Framelits Dies.  The cake is colored using Blushing Bride and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend Markers. The greeting is stamped over the cake in Lovely Lipstick, but it sure looks different than the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet.  This is popped on a Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet for a mat and then popped on the Country Floral mat using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A heart is cut from Vellum and a small star is cut from a scrap of the Lovely Lipstick Foil these are popped over the skinny banner at the bottom of the art piece.  Three Gingham Gala Sequins have been scattered over the art piece front.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that has been trimmed with strips of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you found my card favorable with encouragement and inspiration for your own creations.  Have a blessed day!

Follow Your Dreams and Let It Ride

Follow Your Dreams and Let It Ride

I am using the Let It Ride,  Follow Your Dreams and Strong and Beautiful stamp sets for my card today.  I have come to really like the Follow Your Dreams stamp set and sure hope that it will carry over to the 2019-2020 Annual catalog.

Inspiration for today’s card comes from Just Us Girls Challenge.    It is Trend Week.

I started with a Bermuda Bay card base.  I also cut the Delicate Lace decorative strip that is down the left side from Bermuda Bay.

A panel is cut from the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper (DSP) to stamp the greeting and horse.  They are both stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  The horse is then colored using Early Expresso ink and a Blender Pen.  The edges of the panel are distressed using the edge of my scissors.  The inside sentiment  panel is also distressed.

I cut three Dream Catchers from the stamp set Follow Your Dreams.  I used a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Wood Texture DSP so the pieces would be easier to adhere together.  By adhering three together it gives dimension so they do not look so flat when adhered to the card front.

The Lacy Edgelit piece is also adhered to the card front using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet adhered to the back of the Bermuda Bay card stock.  After it and the Dream Catcher are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue the panel is popped on the card base using Stampin Dimensionals.  A dot from the Glitter Enamel Dots is adhered to the center of the Dream Catcher.

A panel from the Wood Texture DSP is cut and the sentiment along with the Dream Catcher is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. An enamel dot from the Glitter Enamel Dots is adhered to the center of the Dream Catcher.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you find my card to your liking and that you can get inspiration and encouragement for your own creation

Sweetest Thing

Sweetest Thing

My card today is created using the Sweetest Thing stamp bundle. It is a fun bundle to use. The candy jars can be used for various kinds of cards. You can use them for candy or for flowers or whatever you can come up with that you may want to put in a jar.
My inspiration and design come from Fusion Tea and Bouquet Challenge
The card starts with a Melon Mambo card base. A Whisper White panel is then adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
A panel of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (DSP) is cut and stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink with a greeting from the stamp set Sweetest Thing.
Using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies a circle is cut from a panel from All My Love DSP. It is used as the background for the candy jars. It is popped on the How Sweet It Is DSP panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the dies from the Sweetest Things stamp bundle (the framelits dies with this bundle are called Jar of Sweets.) two candy jars with candy are cut from the How Sweet It Is DSP. Several different candies including a big lollipop are fussy cut from a panel of the How Sweet It Is DSP. All of these are popped on the All My Love DSP Circle. Three Gingham Gala sequins are scattered around the card front.
The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo ink on a panel of Whisper White. The sentiment is from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set and the Meant To Be stamp set. The heart stamped in the lower right corner is also from the Meant To Be stamp set and is stamp using Melon Mambo Ink.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you like this fun card.  My wish is that you find inspiration and encouragement for your own creations as usual.  Have a blessed day!

Wonderful Romance

Wonderful Romance

Welcome everyone—it’s the second Tuesday of the month—that means it is time for our Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop.  It is going to be exciting to see what all the other team members have created.  I know you are going to see lots of ideas and inspiration for your own creations.  Now on to the hop.

My card is from the Wonderful Romance stamp set.  I think this is such a pretty stamp bundle.  Using this stamp set will give you the opportunity to make beautiful cards.

Isn’t this a beautiful card?  The greeting is from Bunch of Blossoms.  I like this greeting and use it often.

The card base is Call Me Clover card stock. The Whisper White mat for the art piece has been cut using one of the dies from the Wonderful Romance stamp bundle.  I think it makes for a very nice panel to adhere flowers.

I am playing today in the Cas Mix-up February Challenge.  Hoping my card qualifies.

The flowers were stamped in Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White and colored with Lovely Lipstick and Call Me Clover Stampin Blends.  a ribbon is tied around the bottom of the flowers so it looks like you are holding a bunch of flowers.

The inside sentiment panel has been cut with the same die as the one on the front. Happy Birthday from the Better Together stamp set has been stamped in Call Me Clover ink.

Thank you for stopping by today. You can now click on the NEXT button and it will take you to Amy Koenders blog or click PREVIOUS and it will take you back to Mary Deatherage blog or you can click on the individual and it will take you to their blog.

Country Floral TIEF

Country Floral TIEF

This card just sort of happened.  The Country Flora embossing folder is one of the freebies ($50 purchase required) available in the second release of Sale-A-Bration.  When mine arrived,  I wondered what it would look like if the flowers were colored, so I used sponge daubers with Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz ink and sponged the ink on the embossing folder then put it through the Big Shot.  Well… it turned out to be a great looking art panel so I decided to use it for a card.  Then one of our Krew members said her mom was having her 96th birthday and we could send her a card if we wanted too.  I thought a precious lady who has graced her family and friends with that many years needs lots of birthday cards, so I used the beautiful embossed piece to make a card for her.

My inspiration comes from the Inspire Create Challenge for this week.  How appropriate the Theme is Sale-A-Bration freebies and the embossing folder

The embossed panel with a Polka Dot Tulle ribbon tied in a bow was popped on a Whisper White card base.  Happy Birthday was cut from the Well Said stamp bundle.  The 96 is cut from an old die set.  The card is finished.  Thank you for stopping by today.  The card looks much better and I think beautiful in person.  Hope you can find encouragement and inspiration from it.  There is no inside sentiment to show, I forgot to take a picture and I do hope I put an inside sentiment before mailing to that sweet precious lady.   Have a blessed day.

After my card was made, I was looking at the SAB brochure and it seems I am CAS(E)ing Stampin’ Up’s! sample card.  Had not noticed it before deciding to see what the embossing panel would look like with color.  Great minds think the same!!
