Stampin’ Up! Florals In Bloom

Stampin’ Up! Florals In Bloom

The Designer Series Paper does all the work again with this card.  The only stamping is the greeting.  I used Floral In Bloom Designer Series Paper and Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper.

I used a piece of Vellum to create a diagram to place over the piece of Designer Series Paper for viewing where I wanted to cut.  Draw two lines as the diagram shows.  This is the cut line for your two pieces of Designer Series Paper. You can make two cards with this cutting of the two pieces of Designer Series Paper.  I only use one piece of Designer Series Paper for cutting, the middle section is an entire piece as I cut it large enough to create the border.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
  • Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper
    • mat and middle section — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper
    • focal panel — 3-3/4″ x 5″

Adhere to the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper,  the two outside pieces of the panels cut from Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper as shown in the photo above.  Before adhering, cut two narrow strips of Petunia Pop cardstock to adhere to the edges of the pieces as shown in the photo above.

Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Framing Stamp Set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.  Die cut using a circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Pop on the middle section of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Fussy cut a flower and leaves from the Designer Series Paper, popping over several loops of thread.

Use the middle section from the panel of Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper to decorate the inside panel.  Fussy cut another flower, adhering it at the top of the panel using Multipurpose Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take t he time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms

Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms

Happy Friday, everyone.  Are you ready for a three-day weekend?  Please remember why you are getting that three-day weekend!  Have fun, and I hope everyone has great weather.  Here in Georgia, we are supposed to have weather we do not want.

The card today is created using one of my favorite pieces of designer series paper in the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper pack.  I don’t usually like orange and yellow colors, as I am a winter.  It is partnered with one of my colors, Lost Lagoon, and makes a beautiful piece of designer series paper.

These are the card cuts for this card.

  • Cloud Cover cardstockmat
    • cardbase — 4-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
    • mat card front — 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″
    • greeting mat — 3/4″ x 1-1/4″
  • Lost Lagoon cardstock
    • mat for DSP —  4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″
    • mat for art piece — 3-1/8″x 4-5/8″
  • Basic White cardstock
    • art piece  — 3″ x 4-1/2″
    • inside panel – 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper
    • background piece — 4″ x 4″

  1. Using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Motif stamp set and  Lost Lagoon ink, stamped off once each time you stamp, stamp in each corner of the  3-1/8″x 4-1/2″ Lost Lagoon piece.
  2. Adhere the Lost Lagoon 3-1/8″ x 4-1/2″ stamped piece to the Cloud Cover cardstock piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  3. Adhere the Beautiful 4′ x 4″ Motifs Designer Series Paper piece to the 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ Lost Lagoon cardstock piece.
  4. Adhere the two pieces to the card base.
  5. Die-cut the Basic White art piece using a die from Textured Notes Dies.
  6. Stamp in Memento Tuxedo  Black ink a flower from Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms Stamp Set on the die-cut Basic White piece.
  7. Stamp an extra flower and color to use as the 3-D pieces.
  8.  Color using Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends.
  9. After coloring the flowers, fussy cut a section from each of the flowers.
  10. Using pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the three sections cut, pop them over the flowers on the art piece. I’ve marked the spots on each flower where the sections are popped.
  11. The greeting is fussy cut from a greeting stamped using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set.
  12. Pop the art piece over the Lost Lagoon and Cloud Cover mats using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  13. On the 4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp flowers from Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms Stamp Set in the lower corner of the piece.
  14. Color the flowers using the same colors as used for the flowers on the card front.
  15. Adhere the piece to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  16. Adhere a 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap.

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase

Beginning April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.
The price increase will go toward product value—which means that demonstrators will earn more on order commissions. In addition, starting Tuesday, April 15, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

The first kit at the new price, the May Mountain Majesties Kit, will bill on May 11 at 12:01 a.m. (MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGED AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! updated their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up!  had for many years went away on April 15, 2025.
Bottom line? You will now be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!
Here’s the details:

  • You will not have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it was with the previous Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • On April 15,  2025, and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so, as of April 15, 2025, you will not need to apply my current host code to your order.

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will began  April 15, 2025.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature

Here I am using the same stamp set and Paper Pumpkin pieces that I used for another card this week, only this time it is a fun fold.  As I have said before I believe this is my favorite stamp set other than Lovely As A Tree.  It would be nice if Lovely As A Tree made a comeback.  I know there are many others who love the stamp set Lovely As A Tree.  This time it could have dies with it.  In the meantime, I will continue using Spotlight On Nature.

Challenges Entered

Can You Handle The Pressure

Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge

Creative Creases Challenge

Questions? You can Contact Me.  I’d love to be your Demonstrator if you need any stamping supplies.  Just click on the Shop Now button on the top right side of the screen to go directly to my online store.  You can Shop in my online store HERE

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, so you can show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! has some Online Exclusive items that are available to order now!!  You won’t find these products in any catalog, they’ll only be listed in the online store.  They’re also only available while supplies last, so order early for the best selection!

The Online Exclusive product releases will continue throughout the year so there will be new products to shop from, in addition to new catalogs!

Click here to head over to the online store to see what’s available in the Online Exclusives now!
