Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Frames With Inked Occasions

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Frames With Inked Occasions

Another card created as a Paper Pumpkin alternative.  It is a flap fun fold.  It is very easy to create.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
  • card base — 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Gold Foil
  • mats — (2) 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″;  (2) 2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″
  • card from Inked Occasion Paper Pumpkin
  • focal panels — (2) 1″ x 4″; (2) 2-3/4″ x 4″
  • flowers
  • Basic White cardstock
  • inside flowers — 4″ x 5″

At the score line move the card base over to the 1-1/4″ line, cut from the score line to the card edge.  Do this on both sides.  Adhere these two pieces to the inside of the card base.  Adhere the Gold Foil to the 1-1/4″ sides, to the flap, and to the card inside, you can see the next photo in the post to see where the inside Gold Foil is placed.  Flowers from the Inked Occasion kit are popped over the flap using tiny bits of Stampin’ Dimensionals. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sentimential Frames stamp set is stamped in Memento Black in on a Crush Curry scrap, brushed with the ink using a Blending Brush, die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies, then popped on the card flap using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flowers from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set are stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  The flowers are colored using Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends.  They are fussy cut and adhered to the inside of the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Days Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of a card from Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin.  The panel is adhered over the Gold Foil mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used one of the envelopes in the Paper Pumpkin kit instead of adding Designer Series Paper to an envelope flap.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Questions? You can Contact Me.  I’d love to be your Demonstrator if you need any stamping supplies.  Just click on the Shop Now button on the top right side of the screen to go directly to my online store.  You can Shop in my online store HERE

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, so you can show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! has some Online Exclusive items that are available to order now!!  You won’t find these products in any catalog, they’ll only be listed in the online store.  They’re also only available while supplies last, so order early for the best selection!

The Online Exclusive product releases will continue throughout the year so there will be new products to shop from, in addition to new catalogs!

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase

Beginning April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.
The price increase will go toward product value—which means that demonstrators will earn more on order commissions. In addition, starting Tuesday, April 15, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

The first kit at the new price, the May Mountain Majesties Kit, will bill on May 11 at 12:01 a.m. (MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGES AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! is updating their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up! has had for many years will be going away
Bottom line? You’ll be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!  Whoo-hoo!!
Here’s the details:

  • You’re not going to have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it is with the current Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • Starting  April 15,  2025 at 8 AM MT and moving forward, you’ll earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so beginning April 15, 2025, you won’t need to apply my current host code to your order.
    • Please note – this DOES mean that my $10 thank you gifts will also be going away on  April 15, 2025, since I used the host rewards to “purchase” those gifts for everyone.  But – since YOU’LL be earning 10% back in rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! with every order of $20+, then you’re going to be able to cash in those rewards for anything you’d like – on any order you want to use them on!

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will begin  April 15, 2025 at 8 AM Mountain Time.  I’m letting you know a little early so that you’re ready for the changes.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature —

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature —

The card I am sharing today is created using one of my favorite stamp sets from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set.  I am so happy it will be around a while longer.

Card Cuts:

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock
    • card base — 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Inked Occassions April 2025 Paper Pumpkin
    • background mat  — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Vellum
    • circle behind flowers — 4″ square
  • Basic White cardstock
    • inside panel  — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • flowers  — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • greeting — scrap
  • Old Olive cardstock
    • leaves — 4″ x 5-1/4″

Using a card base from Inked Occasions April 2025 Paper Pumpkin  cut in two pieces, I used the half with gold trim. This trim gives the illusion of more layers.  It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Flowers from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set are stamped in Memento Black ink, colored using Fresh Fressia, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  The flowers are fussy cut.

A circle is die cut from Vellum using a die from Spotlight On Nature Dies.  The circle is adhered to the card front using Glue Dots.  The flowers and leaves are arranged over the Vellum circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A loopy Linen Thread bow is made and adhered behind the greeting using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card base.

I am entering the following card challenges:

Addicted To Stamps

Beautiful Blossoms

DarandDiane

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock.  A flower is stamped in the lower right corner and colored using the same color Stampin’ Blends as used on the card front.

Basic White envelope gets flowers from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set, stamped on a Basic  White envelope flap.  The flowers are colored using Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Florals — Thinking Of You

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Florals — Thinking Of You

The card cuts are listed on each piece above.  The Designer Series Paper, Mixed Media Florals and Mixed Media Florals Memories and More Card Pack do all the work in creating this card.  The only stamping is the greeting.

Adhere the Poppy Parade cardstock piece embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to the Poppy Parade cardstock base using adhesive of choice.  I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue for this and most of the other pieces that were adhered.  Cut a piece of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper 3″ x 4″ and cut diagonally.  Adhere these two diagonally cut pieces to the upper left and lower right corners of the card base over the embossed panel.

Emboss the 2″ x 4″ Basic White cardstock piece using the Plaster Paint 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere the embossed piece to the back of the focal piece, leaving a border on the left side and the top left.  Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the focal piece, popping the piece over the two diagonally cut pieces.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Framing Stamp Set on a piece of Basic White cardstock, die-cutting using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Cut off the bottom of the circle, popping the greeting at the top of the focal piece.  Wrap a length of black twine around the card front and tie a bow.

Basic White envelope gets a panel from the Mixed Floral Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches so you can show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.

Click here to head over to the online store to see what’s available in the Online Exclusives now!

(MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGES COMING ON  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! is updating their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up! has had for many years will be going away
Bottom line? You’ll be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!  Whoo-hoo!!
