Stampin’ Up! Round We Go With Mediterranean Blooms

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Round We Go Stamp Set and Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. The Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder is also used.

Card Cuts for this card:

Night of Navy cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- mats card front — (1) 2-1/2″ x 5″ (1)2-1/2″ x 4″ (1) 1-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- inside mat — 1″ x 4″
Basic White cardstock
- embossed panel – 4″ x 5-1/4″
- inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper
- background pieces — (1) 2-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ — (1) 2-3/8″ x 3-7/8″
- banner — 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
- fruit fussy cut from a panel

The card base is Night of Navy cardstock.

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Emboss using Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere to the Night of Navy card base using adhesive of choice, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Cut the Night of Navy mats, there will be 3 in different sizes, see the card cuts for the sizes.
Cut the backgound pieces and the banner from Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the pieces to the Night of Navy mats using adhesive of choice.
Adhere the background pieces and banner as shown the the above photo.
Fussy cut a lemon from a piece of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper.
Pop the lemon over the banner and the blossom background piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used a greeting from a Paper Pumpkin left over.
Make a loopy bow, adhering behind the greeting.
Pop the greeting over the lemon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Pop Daffodil Delight glossy dots from Glossy Dots Assortment around the card front.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Round We Go Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink.
Pop two Glossy Dots beside the sentiment.
Adhere the Night of Navy mat for the inside to the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper.
Fussy cut a lemon from a piece of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the lemon above the banner using adhesive of choice.
Adhere the Basic White panel to the Night of Navy card base.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue or adhesive of choice.

The card I am sharing today is from left over pieces that I have in my stash. The stamp set is Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set with Dies and Embossing Folder.

These are the card cuts needed to create this card.

Basic White cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4′ x 11′ scored at 5-1/2″
- embossed panel — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- zinnias — (stamp & cut 2) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- inside circle — 4″ x 4″
Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper
- strip down card front — 1″ x 5-1/2″
- inside flower — fussy cut one flower

The embossed panel is one I found in my stash with the Flowering Zinnia strip down the side. I can not remember the die that die cut the holes in the strip. I looked through my stamp sets but it must be a retired one or else I over looked it. The embossed panel is adhered to the Basic White cardstock card base using adhesive of choice, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the zinnia image twice, stamp the leaf image three times.
Color the zinnias and leaves using Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends.
Die cut the zinnias using a die from Simply Zinnia Dies.
Adhere the zinnias and leaves over the embossed panel on the card front.
Stamp in Memento Black ink a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set.
Put 3 Glue Dot on the back of the greet and wrap Linen Thread three times around the Glue Dots.
Adhere the greeting at the bottom of the embossed card front.
Add gems from Purple Shimmery Fine Gems to the card front.
Using a die from Spotlight On Nature Dies, die cut a circle from Basic White cardstock.
Stamp in Memento Black ink a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set in the center of the die cut circle.
Die cut a zinnia from a piece of Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the zinnia at the top of the circle using adhesive of choice, I used Multipurpose Glue.
Pop two gems from Purple Shimmery Fine Gems on the sentiment circle.
A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Subtle 6′ x 6″ Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue or adhesive of choice. My card is a CAS of a card Sharon Armstrong created, but I had to make it mine so I added to it.

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey

I am sharing a very easy and simple fun fold today. I used Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes, Layering Leaves, and Sketched Butterflies Stamp Sets. Also used was Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

These are the card cut you will need to create this card.

Pretty Peacock cardstock
- card base — 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- little card — 3″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Basic White cardstock
- art piece card front — 2-3/4″ x 4″
- inside piece little card — 2-3/4″ x 4″
- inside piece card base — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper
- card front little card — 2-3/4″ x 4″
- inside — scrap

These are the challenges I am entering for this card.

Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge

Creative Creases Challenge

Seize The Birthday Challenge with the option of adding a cute critter. I am doing the “Anything Goes” as I do not have a critter on my card.

Color a flower image from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set using Stampin’ Write Markers, I used Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. Give the image a huff of breath after coloring to moisten it so it will stamp well.
Stamp the colored image on one of the 2-3/4″ x 4″ pieces of Basic White cardstock, leaving space at the top for a greeting.
Stamp a greeting in Pretty Peacock ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Stamp Set.
Use the splash of dots stamp from Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Stamp Set to stamp dots in Wild Wheat ink around the flower.
Adhere to the left side of your card base front leaving a border around the edges.
On the other piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp in Pretty Peacock ink a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Stamp Set.

Adhere the Basic White piece to the inside of the little card using adhesive of choice.
Adhere the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series piece to the little card front.
Adhere the little card to the right side of the card front making sure edges are even. The left edge may extend over the Basic White piece just a bit but this is fine.
Adhere dots from Glossy Dot Assortment.
Stamp in Pretty Peacock ink, a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set on the Basic White piece for the inside of the card.
Using left-over scraps from Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper adhere to the left side of the inside Basic White panel.
Adhere three of the dots from the Glossy Dot Assortment on the left side in the little white space at the top of the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — I’m Thankful

Welcome! It’s that time — what time is that you ask! Time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It is the second Tuesday of each month. Our theme for August is “Fall Frenzy” You can always find a group of talented ladies that make up a part of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. Be sure you check out each person’s blog, you will find much talent and inspiration. You may even find that you would like to CAS(E) one of the cards. That’s an honor for the creator of the card to have someone want to CAS(E) their card. Well let’s begin, I know you are wanting to see all the cards.

For this card that I am sharing today I used Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set and Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

I started with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Wild Wheat cardstock as the base card base. Score at 2-1/8″ and 5-1/2″. On the short end that is scored 2-1/8″, mark the piece at the center of the short end, then cut from the 2-1/8″ score line to the mark on the short end using a paper trimmer. Repeat process so you end up with a point on the short end. (Mary give a great diagram of this)

Cut three pieces of Cajun Craze cardstock 3″ x 4″. These are mats for the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper that will be adhered next. Adhere one Cajun Craze cardstock piece to the card front that is behind the folded piece that has the point another to the inside of this panel and the last one to the right side of the inside panel.

This is a CAS of Mary Deatherage’s August 2, 2024 card. She gives great instructions. Here is another of the same that she created. Click here for this one. I believe between the two you can find great instructions.

Using Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper cut three pieces 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″. Adhere over the Cajun Craze mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Cut a 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Cajun Craze and a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Thoughtful Journey. Adhere these two pieces together. They will become the diamond on the card front when you adhere them to the portion of the card that has the point using Adhesive on the point only.

Cut a 2-3/4″ x 4″ of Cajun Craze cardstock, and a piece of 2-1/2″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set. Stamp a twig from the same stamp set in the lower corner of the Basic White piece.

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes, Wildflower Designs, and Country Birdhouse Stamp Set along with Distress Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and dies from Sketched Butterflies Dies.

These are the card cuts needed to create this card.

Basic Black cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- mat for art piece — 2-3/4′ x 2-3/4″
Basic White cardstock
- mat on card front — 4″ x 5-1/4″
- art pieces — Cut 3 — 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″
- inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper
- background piece — 3-3/4′ x 5″
- inside strip — 1-1/4″ x 4″
- envelope flap — 2-1/4″ x 6″

Can You Handle The Pressure (CYHTP) Challenge

Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) Challenge. The designer series paper is the Never Before Used Schtuff.

The cardbase is Basic Black cardstock. Cut a piece of the same for the background diamond. Adhere the Wildly Flowering Designer Series piece to a piece of the Basic White cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Emboss the two piece using Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, now that they have been adhered together. Wrap White Twine from Basic Twine Essential Pack around the embossed piece three times, adhered in the back using tape. Adhere the piece to the card base using adhesive of choice. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Die cut three butterflies from 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Paper using dies from Sketched Butterflies Dies. Using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes and Wildflower Designs Stamp Sets stamp the flower images on the Basic White squares. I used Stampin’ Write marker to color each stamp, then stamped on the squares. The Stampin’ Write Markers I used are Berry Burst,Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, and Granny Apple Green. I then used Stampin’ Blends in the same color to color the inside of the flowers.

Adhere the three flower squares to the Basic Black square, making sure the square is turned to create a diamond. You can see the photo. Adhere the three butterflies using a Glue Dot. Pop Gems from Tinsel Gems Four Pack around the card front and on each butterfly. The 7th Gem is inside. On a piece of Basic Black cardstock, stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Stamp Set in Versa Mark, sprinkle White Embossing Powder over the Versa Mark and heat emboss using a heat tool. Use an Embossing Buddy to swipe the Basic Black piece so the embossing powder will only stick to the piece where the Versa Mark is stamped. Cut the greeting into three pieces and pop on the card front, see the photo.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp in Memento Black ink a sentiment using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Stamp Set.

Adhere a piece of Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
