Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love

Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love

The card shared today is created using Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set and  elements from the April 2024 Paper Pumpkin.  I used this same design for a card previously, you can see it here.

I am entering these challenges:

NBUS Challenge #63   Never Before Used Schtuff

Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge

EllieBelle’s Corner Craft Challenge

My card base is Pretty Peacock card stock cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scoring at 4-1/4″.  Open the card and on the 5-1/2″ side come down 2-3/4″ and score.  Cut through the score line over to the score line that is 4-1/4″ then from the top cut down the score line to the line you have just cut.  You will use this cut piece to emboss using Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  This piece will be adhered to the bottom of the front panel.  Tinsel Gems are popped around the card front.

Chose a butterfly piece and a gold piece from the April 2024 Paper Pumpkin, adhered the pieces together using Stampin Dimensionals.  Adhere the butterfly piece to the front panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Remember to put glue only on the bottom portion of the butterfly piece or you will glue it to the card and you will be unable to open.  Take a card from the Paper Pumpkin Kit and trim one of the panel to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″  Adhere this panel to the inside of the card.  Take the other piece trimming to 2-1/2′ x 4″.  Adhere the piece to the inside of the card front.  Make a bow using the Pecan Pie Center Strip Ribbon which is an Online Exclusive.  Adhere to the bottom of the butterfly piece using a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, stamp sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set.  Stamp the HOPE, LOVE, and FAITH in Gold Embossing Powder.  Stamp the images with Versa Mark, sprinkling Gold Embossing Powder and  heat set using a heat tool.  Stamp the other three sentiments in Lost Lagoon ink.  The piece of Basic Beige cardstock is adhered to a Pretty Peacock cardstock mat.

An envelope from the April 2024 Paper Pumpkin is used instead of an envelope that must be decorated because as we all know, there is to be no naked envelopes!

Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set and Layering Leaves Stamp Set are also used.

I am entering the following challenges.

Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge

Creative Creases Challenge

  2. Score the piece at 2″, 4″, 8″, and 10″.

  4. Place the piece in the track of your paper trimmer, lining up the mark and the first score line.
  5. Cut at an angle from the score line to the mark. If you will click on this link, you can see Lisa Curcio‘s diagram of how to score and cut.  Scroll down the page a bit and you will see the download for the diagram.

  7. Color the zinnias in Melon Mambo, Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight, and  Highland Heather.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnias — Sending flowers

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnias — Sending flowers

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnias Stamp Set & Dies, along with Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Stamp Set.

This is my first time use of Basic Beige cardstock for a card base and I like the way it turned out as the card base.  A piece of the same is embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  The embossed pieces is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A piece of Petal Pink cardstock is embossed using the same embossing folder.  It is adhered over the Basic Beige embossed piece.  I have never been a fan of Petal Pink but it seems the perfect color for this card.  A piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper is cut, adhering it over the Petal Pink piece.

Using dies from Simply Zinnias Dies and Petal Pink and Berry Burst cardstock die cut the pieces to create the flowers, you can see the pieces in the next photo.  The petals with the largest center is the piece I adhered to the solid flower base first.  Arrange the second layers so the petal off set each other.  I adhered two of the Lemon Lolly star centers together to give a better dimension.  The center is cut from a piece of Pecan Pie.  Arrange the two flowers and leaves over the Country Woods Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

These are the pieces you will need for each flower.  I did not include the leaves as they are just leaves.  I used Peach Pie and Berry Burst ink to sponge the edges of the petals using a sponge dauber.

Make a loopy Linen Thread bow and adhere to the card front using a Glue Dot.  Pop sequins around the card front along with a Brush Brass Butterfly pop on a Zinnia.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse is stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  A Zinnia is fussy cut from Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and adhered in the right corner.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper  adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs

Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs

Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set, and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set are used in creating the card I am sharing today.  I am sure there is someone out there on Pinterest that has created this stamp design before, so consider me as CASing you as I have no idea who you may be.

I am entering Crafty Gals Corner Challenge for this card as I consider it a fun fold.

These are the piece needed to create this card, along with a Moody Mauve cardstock card base.  Flower and leaf images from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set are stamped in Smoky Slate ink and colored using Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends.  Two circles are die cut from Country Woods Designer Series Paper using a die from Spotlight On Nature Dies.  Two circles are die cut from Basic White cardstock using a the next size smaller die to do the cutting.

It has taken me the entire day to create this card, as I kept changing the card base because each one seemed to not be the right one.  I finally settled on Moody Mauve, but then could not find a piece of Designer Series Paper that would go with the Moody Mauve cardstock, so I decided to make my own.  I used the flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs and heat embossed using Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder.  It turned out rather well, I think.  I probably could have done the same with the three other cardstocks but the idea only come to mind when I decided on Moody Mauve.

This is the way it looks once adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere.

One of the Basic White circles is adhered to the Country Woods Designer Series Paper circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The circle are then adhered to the card from using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Flowers and leaves are arranged and then adhered using either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A loopy bow is made using Linen Thread and popped on the flowers using a Glue Dot.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs Stamp Set is stamped in Old Olive ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems are popped around the card front.

The other Country Woods Designer Series Paper circle is adhered to the back of the circle that is on the card front.  A panel of Basic White cardstock is embossed using Dashing Design 3D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered to the inside panel of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The remaining Basic White circle is stamped with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog  launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
