Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night — Joy and Peace
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night stamp set & Dies. It is a CAS of one Amy Koenders made a few weeks ago.
I am entering the NBUS Challenge for this card.
I started with a Basic White card stock card base. I just realize this minute that Amy used Night of Navy card stock. I have a Night of Navy card stock mat and a Basic White mat for the O’ Holy Night Designer Series Paper. These strips were pieces left over from other cards I have made, so I thought they were perfect to create Amy’s card.
The star is die cut from Distressed Gold 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. I also use a scrap of Basic White card stock to create the white layer of the star. An Adhesive Backed Star Trinket is popped in the middle of the star and the star is then popped on the card front. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Night Divine stamp set is stamped in Versa Mark on a piece of O’ Holy Night Designer Series Paper, sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and heat embossed. The piece is matted to a Basic White piece and popped over the star using double Stampin’ Dimensionals. Two Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets are popped around the card front.
A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Night Divine stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White card stock piece. Two narrow strips of O’ Holy Night Designer Series Paper is adhered to the Basic White card stock piece, then adhered to a Night of Navy card stock piece. The piece is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A Basic White envelope gets embossed on the envelope flap using the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder.
