Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Earth Thinking of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Earth Thinking of You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beauty of the Earth DSP, a die from the Peony Dies, and the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set.

The inspiration for my card design is from the TGIF Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Cajun Craze card stock for a mat for the blue panel of Beauty of the Earth DSP that looks like the sky for my trees.

Three strips of the Beauty of the Earth DSP is cut and matted on strips of Cajun Craze card stock and then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A strip of Cajun Craze card stock is cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Peony Dies.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the cropped piece.  It is then popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front. A tiny bow is made using a length of twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack.

I created a mini picture like the front of the card for the inside panel.  A note can be written at the top.

A medium Basic White envelope get a panel of the Beauty of the Earth DSP that matches the card front applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower You Inspire Me

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower You Inspire Me

The card I am sharing today is created using  Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower, Beauty of Friendship, and Free As A Bird Stamp Sets.  The Meadow Moments Embossing Folder is used for the embossing.

My design is inspired by the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  It is a sketch challenge.  My occasion is the celebration of my sister being cancer-free for 12 years now.

I am also entering the challenge at The House That Stamps Built — their theme for this challenge is Think Pink in honor of breast cancer as October is Breast Cancer Month and I have a sister who is a survivor.

I started with a Basic White card stock base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.

To create the Polished Pink sunflower, I dropped several drops of the Polished Pink ink from a refill bottle.  I then added water using a Water Painter.  I keep adding until I had the color of pink I wanted.  I then place a panel of Watercolor paper over the watered-down ink, I then dried the ink using a heat tool, then dipped in the ink again.  I kept doing this until I had the panel covered, dried it again with the heat tool and it was ready for stamping.

I first stamped the sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set using Polished Pink ink, then I stamped Versa Mark over it and sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder over it and heat embossed.  Thankfully, I remembered there was a die for this, but on my first try of stamping, I fussy cut.  The leaves and stems are cropped from Garden Green card stock.  The greeting is stamped in Polished Pink ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock then fussy cut and popped on the card front.  I colored a length of ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack using a Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker and created the Breast Cancer Ribbon at the top of the card.  Pearls Basic Jewels are added to the center of the sunflower.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set is stamped in Polished Pink ink on the Basic White panel.  A ribbon representing Breast Cancer is created using a scrap of the Whimsey & Wonder DSP.  It has been embossed using the Timber 3-D embossing Folder, then popped on the panel using  Glue Dots.

A Breast Cancer Ribbon is adhered to the medium white envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Thinking Of You

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Thinking Of You

My card today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set, along with the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder and the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

My card design is from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.

I started with a Crumb Cake card stock card base, adding a panel of the same that is stamped with leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves  Set using Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Highland Heather ink.  The panel is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.  A panel of Early Espresso card stock is embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder and the shape for the card top is cut from it.

A greeting from my stash, so I do not know the stamp set it is from, but there are many stamp sets with the “Thinking of You” greeting.  Crumb Cake twine from the Basic Twine Essential Pack is wrapped around the greeting label a few times and adhered on the back with a glue dot.  It is then popped on the card from at the point where  the Early Espresso card stock dips down to the Crumb Crumb panel.  Several Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped on the card front.

The sentiment comes from the Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said Stamp Set and is stamped in Cajun Craze on the Basic White card stock panel.

The sentiment panel gets leaves stamped on corners from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set.

A medium while envelope gets the envelope flap stamped using one of the leaves stamps from the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace Christmas Card

My card today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace and For Unto Us Stamp Sets, along with the Merry Melody 3-D Embossing Folder.

I am playing along with the Creative Creases Challenge for today.

The card base is Basic White card stock as is the Merry Melody 3-D Embossed panel.  This is a step card.  The embossed panels have strip of Gold Foil adhered down the side.

The angels from the Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace Stamp Set are stamped with Versa Mark then embossed using Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder.  They are colored using Polished Pink and Balmy Blue ink and a Water Painter.   I love doing watercolor.  After coloring they are popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used watercolor pencils to color the bird, holly in the little angel’s hand, her head wreath, and the faces and arms.  To give a little shadow to the angel wings, I used a really water down Balmy Blue ink, so there is just the faintest color.  Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front. A star is cropped from Gold Foil paper.  The greeting from Stampin’ Up! For Unto Us Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink, fussy cut and popped on a Gold Foil background.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! For Unto Us Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. The little angel from the Angels of Peace Stamp Set is stamped in Gold ink.  The panel has a Gold Foil strip adhered down the left side.

A medium while envelope gets the envelope flap embossed using the Merry Melody 3-D Embossing Folder.
