Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog today.  I hope you enjoy my card today.

My design inspiration for today is the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Stamp Set along with the Ornate Layers Dies.

I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base layering a panel of the new Fresh Freesia card stock (available May 4 to customers). It is cropped using the largest die from the Ornate Layers Dies.  A panel of Ornate Garden DSP is layered over the Fresh Freesia card stock panel. A panel of Basic White is cropped using another Ornate Layers Dies and layered over the Ornate Garden DSP.

The large spray of flowers from the Ornate Style Stamp Set is stamped using Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock, then colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather,  Mint Macaron, and Blackberry Bliss. Linen Thread is looped around the card front a few times and the spray of flowers is popped over it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set is stamped on a tag cropped using the Ornate Frame Dies. A bow from Linen Thread is tied onto the tag.  Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are placed around the card front and in the upper right corner of the Ornate Garden DSP.

The Basic White sentiment panel is left blank except for a strip of the Ornate Garden DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a restful, peaceful day.

The Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, and The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set (available May 4 to customers) to create the card I am sharing with you today.

My design inspiration is from Addicted To Stamps – Birthdays is the theme.

The Fusion Card Challenge for the design. I reversed the card making it portrait instead of landscape.  I used both the design and the theme of poppies.  Poppies are special to me so I am happy to see a card using it and happy Stampin’ Up! gives us another stamp set with poppies.

And for color, Just Add Ink Challenge is perfect for my images.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. A greeting from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set (retiring) was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink before embossing.

I stamped poppies using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick card stock from two stamp sets, The Flowers of Friendship (available May 4 to customers) along with the current Painted Poppies.  I am so happy it is carrying over to the next catalog.

I colored the poppies using Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. The 1-1/2″ Basic White squares with the poppies from Painted Poppies are matted on a strip of DSP adhering to the right side of the card front after coloring.  The other poppies from both stamp sets are fussy cut after coloring and arrange in the Petal Pink pitcher.  Some are popped on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and some are adhered using Glue Dots.

A greeting from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White that has poppies stamped and colored across the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used in Creating This Card

One day maybe I can get back to a regular schedule of posting my blogs for now I post when I have a free minute and sometimes that minute can take all day. So I post when I can.  Pray things will return to normal one day.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

Happy Saturday everyone.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Stamp Set, the World Map Dies, and The World of Good DSP to create the card I am sharing with you today.

My design inspiration is the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

I started with a Basic Black card stock card base adding a panel of World of Good DSP to the card base.  I then cut the corners from another panel of the DSP to create the corner pieces that are blue trimmed in Basic Black card stock.

The next to largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies is used to crop a panel from Basic White card stock.  This is popped in the middle of the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Several images from the World Map Dies are cropped from World of Good DSP.  Others are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and Soft Suede ink on Basic White card stock and cropped using the World Map Dies. These are made into a collage on the Stitched So Sweetly Dies cropped Basic White card stock panel.

A greeting is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White scrap, then fussy cut and popped over the collage.

The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock with an inkwell and quill stamped in the lower corner.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of World of Good DSP added to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments

I used the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set to create this card.  It is a CAS(E) of Tina Gillespie’s OnStage Sydney presentation. Click here to see her card.  She created a beautiful card and I had to create one.

My challenge inspiration for today is The Card Concept — Loads of Lavender.  The lavender is my inspiration.

I started with a Night of Navy card base – 4 1/4″ x 8″ – scored at 1 1/4″ and 2 1/2″ from each short end – then folded in a “Z”.  I watercolored a panel of Basic White Thick card stock using Balmy Blue ink, Crumb Cake ink, and a Water Painter. After the watercolor dried,  I stamped a greeting in Tuxedo Memento Black ink along with the birds. I then cut panels and adhered to the card base.

I stamped the images from Beautiful Moments Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock and colored using Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose (soon to be retired) and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

After coloring, I fussy cut the images, using the largest to create the bridge on the card.  The other lilacs, I adhered in the background and around the base of the water.

The backside of the card has a Basic White card stock panel stamped with the lilacs from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. They are colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers.

No envelope was created as I plan on keeping this card.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas

My card today is created using the Toile Christmas Stamp Set, soon to be retired, and the Etched in Nature Stamp Set, in the new catalog going live for customers, May 4.  The bird was a challenge to stamp, but finally success.

My design inspiration comes from two challenges today.  The first is Just Add Ink.  The challenge is to Just Choose Two – Feathers- Leaves- Petals.

The other is Inspire. Create Challenge # 088. The challenge is to create a project using this fabulous card from Jo Blackman as your inspiration.

My card starts with a Soft Suede card stock base with a mat of Real Red card stock for the art piece.  They are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of In Good Taste DSP is cut and an image from the Toile Christmas stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then colored using Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The bird is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the bird & branch using Balmy Blue and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then fussy cut the bird and popped it over the berry-filled branches using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A ladybug from Ladybug Trinkets is popped on the card front. The greeting from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, soon to be retired, is stamped in Soft Suede ink on the corner of the card front.

The Basic White card stock sentiment panel is left blank except for the berry branch from the Toile Christmas Stamp Set.  It is colored in the same colors as the ones on the card front.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the In Good Taste DSP added to the flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
