Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Snail Mail

Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Snail Mail

Good Day everyone!  Hope your day is going supercharged.

I received my paper shares yesterday. A lifesaver they are so to speak.  I had also seen Jaimie Babarczy’s card and thought “Oh that would make a cute valentine for my great-granddaughter” — but I don’t have it– then Mary’s paper shares arrived and the rest is history as you will see.  I even had to order the bundle for future use.  Now on to the card.

My challenge for the day is from the Shopping Our Stash Challenge.

I started with a Bermuda Bay card stock base, layering two different panels of the Snail Mail DSP over it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue after all the elements were added to the panels. A length of Double Stitched Red Ribbon is wrapped around the middle covering the joining spot of the two panels.  Over the red ribbon, another length of ribbon with white dashes is wrapped, both ribbons are adhered with Glue Dots.

I cropped two circles using the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Layering Circle Dies, one from Basic White card stock that is embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and another from the Snail Mail DSP.  A Bermuda Bay card stock heart is cropped using one of the heart dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  This heart is layered over the red Snail Mail DSP circle.

Two of the snails are fussy cut from a panel of the Snail Mail DSP and popped over the Bermuda Bay heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  One of the tiny envelopes with a heart is also fussy cut and popped between the two snails. Using the die with the many hearts from the Stitched Be Mine Dies I cropped some Real Red hearts to pop on the corner of the top panel.  Three of the Resin Hearts from the Snail Mail Suite Collection are randomly placed around the card front.  A greeting from the Meant To Be Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The sentiment panel has a sentiment from the Meant To Be Stamp Set stamped in Real Red ink on the Basic White card stock panel.  Hearts from the Meant To Be Stamp Set are stamped in the corners using Bermuda Bay ink.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Snail Mail DSP and your card project is finished.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Hearts with Dragonfly Garden

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Hearts with Dragonfly Garden

Happy Tuesday everyone.  I hope everyone is having nice weather — NO snow– beautiful first day, but then messy till it is all gone!

The card today features the Detailed Hearts Dies and Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set.  Products used and card cuts are at the end of this post.

The design inspiration for today comes from the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock with a panel of the Flower & Field DSP (a free Sale-A- Bration item with a $50 purchase).  Over this panel is a panel of Vellum to give the Flower & Field DSP a softer look.

A panel of Basic White card stock is colored using Real Red and Highland Heather inks and Sponges.  This is a technique shown on one of the cards in the Annual Catalog although I do not know if their ink is Real Red and Highland Heather.  It is then cropped using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The Detailed Hearts Dies are used to crop the hearts from a panel of Basic White card stock.  The hearts are then colors using a sponge dauber and Real Red and Highland Heather inks.  To me, some of the hearts appear as if they have glitter on them but they do not, it must be the lighting when the photo was taken.  This is then adhered over the colored panel.

The greeting is from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set and is stamped using Highland Heather ink.  It is then cropped using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and popped on the corner of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The card front is completed.

A sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set is stamped in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, hearts are popped in the upper left corner and the lower right corner.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP on it also.

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you are having a nice day full of sunshine even if it is cold.

The card I am sharing today is Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose.  I think it goes well with the Flower & Field DSP, a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 order.

Inspiration for my design comes from the Fusion Card Challenge.  I am only doing the design.

Also, Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Misty Moonlight card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base after all the elements are popped on the embossed panel.

A strip of the Flower & Field DSP is adhered to the floral panel of the Flower & Field DSP along with a strip of Misty Moonlight that has been embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

One of the roses from To A Wild Rose is stamped on a 3″ square of Basic White card stock using a Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad for the ink.  Two leaves are stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.  The rose and leaves are popped over the Shaded Spruce and Misty Moonlight strips using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and then fussy cut the design of the greeting.

The sentiment panel is left blank except for a strip of the Flower & Field DSP down the side.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP on it also.
