Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia with Golden Honey

Happy Thursday–here it is already the 2nd day of January 2020. Did you have a good New Year’s Day? Did you eat Black Eyed Peas, Collards, cornbread and steak? It would be interesting to know how many people still eat this on New Year’s Day. I went to a Chick-fil-A to get tea and lemonade and it was full, so I know a few people did not have that at least for one meal today.

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Designer Series Paper (a free item with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration which starts tomorrow.)

My challenge inspiration design comes today from the Inspire, Create Challenge.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock mat for the Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper background.

The flowers were fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper then colored using Stampin’ Up! Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers and popped over the Stampin’ Up! Basic Black circle cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Circle Dies. The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Little Lady Bug Stamp Set was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Three sequins from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Sequins are randomly placed around the card front.

The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The flowers are again fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP and colored the same as the flowers for the card front.

Before finishing the envelope flap, a flower from the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP is colored and fussy cut, then adhered to the envelope corner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

In finishing my card, I gave the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP.
