Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely

Welcome and Happy Monday! Why do people always dread Monday? What is it about Monday that causes such dread?

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set. This is one of those set that has seen little use. I have so many stamp sets that have seen little or no use, and I am sure there are many of you out there in the same boat. We keep collecting but not using. Is our goal to create cards or collect stamps? A little of both would you not say?

Sometimes when your brain is on overload and you can’t seem to up with one creative idea, it is time to turn to our trusty ole catalog for an idea, that is what I have done for today. Page 81 to be exact.

And… Through the Craft Room Door – Anything Goes Challenge

I started by cutting a panel of Stampin’ Up! Purple Posey card stock for the base and for the focal panel also the inside sentiment panel.

Using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely Flowers Dies, one of the Purple Posey panel was cropped with the flowers. A panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock is used to stamp the flowers in Stampin’ Up! Purple Posey ink and in Pear Pizzazz ink. This is placed under the Purple Posey panel so the stamped flowers will show through the cut-outs. The greeting panel is cut from Whisper White card stock and stamped in Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo ink. The corners are punched with one of those little stamps that is so handy for corners that you do not want to get rid of even though Stampin’ Up! may have retired it long ago. Seems maybe Stampin’ Up! used it also looking at their picture on page 81. Any corner punch can be used or it can be left blank.

The little flowers are cropped out using the little die from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely Flowers Dies as is the little leaves stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is wrapped around the card and the greeting it popped over it using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment panel is a panel of Purple Posey card stock that has been cropped with the Lovely Flowers Dies and is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The sentiment is stamped in Flirty Flamingo on the Purple Posey panel.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the color theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ 2019-2021 Incolor Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride with Dashing Deer

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride and Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer. They go together well. This is the first of my Christmas cards for the season. Christmas will be here before we can blink an eye. The people who are on the Greek Isle Cruise received the new 2019 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, so you can see how close it is.

My challenges for the day are with the following: Inspire Create Challenge #047.

And…Just Add Ink #465 “The Season”.

And then there is — Paper Craft Crew Designers Choice.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The card is a 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ square card. The card front is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink using the Stampin’ Up! Crackle Paint Stamp. The circle is also stamped with this stamp.

The circle is cut using Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The Stampin’ Up! Garden Green mat behind the white circle is cut free hand. I drew the circle on a piece of the Garden Green card stock then cut a tiny border around the pencil drawing. Before matting the circle, I stamped the trees from Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride Stamp Set using Garden Green ink. I stamped them all the way across the card front then place the circle over them and stamped so the trees would continue across the circle. The same was done for the deer from the Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Stamp Set that is stamped in Crumb Cake ink.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up!Dashing Deer Stamp Set. The evergreens are from Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride Stamp Set and are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green Ink. A deer from Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Stamp Set is stamped in Crumb Cake ink.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the color theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a few stamps with the evergreen stamp from the Let It Ride stamp set. I also stamped a set of the evergreens and a deer on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Dino Days

The card I am sharing today comes from Stampin’ Up! Dino Days Stamp Set. This is a cute stamp set and it has great sentiments that fit a child or adult.

My sketch design comes from Sketch Saturday.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick card stock mat for the background panel from Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar DSP. The card base along with the other card layers are embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Dino Days Stamp Set and is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink.

The egg is cut using the Stampin’ Up! Dino Dies and is matted in Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick card stock. The egg is in two separate parts so that the middle will show and be the middle strip of the design. The little branch, from Stampin’ Up! Dino Enamel Shapes, he is holding is in place of the ribbon on the design.

The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Dino Days Stamp Set and is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink on the top portion of the egg. The egg has also been embossed using the Subtles Embossing Folder. I stamped the little dinosaur on a piece of Lovely Lipstick card stock using Lovely Lipstick ink. I then fussy cut him and cut three others from the Lovely Lipstick card stock to give dimension to the little guy. Since I fussy cut the one I stamped it made him smaller than the others so this gave a border around him which adds to the dimensional look. He is popped on the egg using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Lovely ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set. The decorative panel is from Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar DSP.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the Dino theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar DSP

My card for the hop is created by using the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Place and Heartland Stamp Sets.

I am playing along with the Seize the Birthday for today. The theme is sunshine. I hope my little sun counts.

My husband said my little boy playing in the creek looks like a ghost. What do you think? Do you think it makes you think of a ghost walking in the water? The card base is Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel card stock mat for the art panel. The card base is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greeting Stamp Set and is stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink.

The images are stamped from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Place Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Heartland Stamp Set. I had to mask part of the little boy image as there were geese walking beside him. I used Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils and a Stampin’ Up! Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to color the art piece. The sun is from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry ink.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set. The evergreens are from Stampin’ Up! Rooted In Nature Stamp Set and are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green Ink.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the color theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane

The card I am sharing with you today is created using Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set.

The sketch design challenge is from CAS(E) This Sketch!

Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock is the card base. The focal panel is from Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP. There are so many beautiful panels in this pack of DSP.

All the matted pieces of the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP are matted either with Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock or Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock.

The magnolias are fussy cut from a panel of the Magnolia Lane DSP and popped on the card front. A bow is made using Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine and popped over the magnolias with a Glue Dot. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set. The greeting is all one stamp, but is cut apart and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that has two mats, Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock and Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock are those two mats. A magnolia from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set is stamped in the lower left corner using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. As I type this I realize the magnolia would have looked better stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the magnolia theme of the card front. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane DSP.
