Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases

Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases

I am sharing a card made using the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight Stamp Set.

My card design for the day is inspired by Case This Sketch.

My colors come from  CAS  Mix  Up  Ombre  + Stamping  + Your  Choice

And…

CAS Watercolour  Something Blue

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.  The art panel is a panel of Whisper White that has been watercolored using Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue watercolor pencil.  I added more pencil color to get the darker colors.  I was amazed at how you could get it darker by coloring, then using the Aqua Painter, drying and doing the process all over again until the desired colored is achieved.  After the panel was dried thoroughly, I stamped using Versa Mark ink an image from the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set then added Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder and heat set.

The art piece has been matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel card stock and popped on the card base using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A bow made  from Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Twine is added at the stem of the flower flourish.  Several Basic Pearl Jewels are added to the card front.

The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight stamp set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.   The same image as the one used on the card front is stamped off twice and then stamped over the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you like  my card and that you will have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday To A Wild Rose

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!  May you have a very special celebration with your children.

I  am sharing a card made using the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.  Seems I  have been using this set just a bit lately, would you think maybe I like the stamp set?

My card design and challenge for the day is inspired by Addicted to Stamps and More  7th Birthday Celebration.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card stock background panel.  The background panel is embossed using Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.

The flowers and leaves are cut using various Stampin’ Up! card stocks to cut them.  The colors used are Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo for the rose, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz for some of the leaves.  One or two leaves have been stamped on Whisper White card stock using Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink.  Several Stampin’ Up! Pearls Basic Jewels have been colored using Flirty Flamingo ink.  Three have been placed in the flower center and the other in various places on the card front.  The bow is made using Stampin’ Up! The sentiment and flower is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the colors of the card front.  I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Stampin’ Up! Varied Vases

Stampin’ Up! Varied Vases

Have you ever forgotten to post your blog?  I am just a wee bit late with my posting today.  Please smile here!

Today, I am sharing a clean and simple card of encouragement by using the Stampin’ Up! Varied Vases Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set.  I think these colors do look so clean and cool and simple to create.  Should I put #simple?  If you can use a paper cutter you can make this.

My card design and challenge for the day is inspired by  Tuesday Morning Sketches.    The sketch for the challenge is by Melissa Craig.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base is always good.  It goes with any color except may a dull yellow or gray.

Next a panel of Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay card stock is added as a mat for the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White panel that becomes the mat for the Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ Brights Designer Series Paper panel that is the background panel for the art piece.

Three flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Varied Vases stamp set are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose ink, Melon Mambo ink and So Saffron ink on the panel of Whisper White card stock.

The vases are punch from various scraps of the Stampin’ Up  6″ x 6″ Brights DSP using the Stampin’ Up! Vase Builder Punch. These are adhered over the flowers using Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are added to the card front.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely stamp set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink on a  Whisper White panel that is matted using Bermuda Bay card stock.  A flower is stamped in the lower corner.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of the card front.  I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed.

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

This is a pretty card.  I love this DSP.  Stampin’ Up! certainly has beautiful Designer Series Paper for the 2019-2020 year.  I whined because some of my favorite paper was retired, but this is for sure a great replacement.  The flowers look so real.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP to make this card and used Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set for the greeting on the card front.  The inside sentiment is from one of my favorite stamp sets which I did not like and did not order, then it was gifted to me and when I used it, I was regretful that I wasted time not having Stampin’ Up!’s Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set.  I have since used it so much.  I’ve probably said all this before about this stamp set.

My challenge for the day is FabFri165

The base is from the new Stampin’ Up! In-Color card stock Rococo Rose.  The background panel is from Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP as is the art piece.

The art piece and the mat for it have been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Nested Label Dies.

The trim at the bottom of the art piece is Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads Trim.

The word LOVE come from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set and is stamped in Merry Merlot ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.  I then used my snips to trim each end to match the Stitched Nested Label Die.

The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.  Flowers have been fussy cut from the Pressed Petals DSP and adhered in the left corner with Liquid Glue.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the floral theme of the card.  I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petal DSP.   Don’t you just love this DSP, it is so pretty!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you like my card and my wish is that your day be blessed.
