Love What You Do
My card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
My card is made using the new as of June 1, Love What You Do Stamp Set and the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. Everyone is going to love these two sets.
I used Tranquil Tide as the card base, cut 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2.
The mat for the Whisper White panel is cut 4 x 3 from a piece of the paper in the Share What You Love DSP.
The Whisper White panel is cut 5-1/2 x 2-1/2. It is adhered to the Share What You Love panel with liquid glue.
This was popped on the Tranquil Tide card base.
I fussy cut flowers from one of the pieces of the Share What You Love DSP and popped on the Whisper White panel that had been sponged lightly with Tranquil Tide ink.
I used the greeting from the Work Of Art Stamp Set to stamp the greeting on the Whisper White panel.
The inside sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. It is stamped on a Whisper White panel using Tranquil Tide ink. The leaves on the inside sentiment are from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. I fussy cut a flower from the Share What You Love DSP and popped it on the leaves.

On the Rich Razzleberry wedge that shows after adhering the Painted With Love DSP, I stamped using Versa Mark the flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set, (The early release for customers runs 1 – 31 May.) I then used the white watercolor pencil from the Watercolor Pencil packet to color the flowers. I thought the flowers would be white, but they have come out a lilac color. I suppose the white on top of the Rich Razzleberry turns it to that color.
I also stamp a second flower on a scrap of Rich Razzleberry, after coloring it with the white watercolor pencil, I fussy cut it and popped it half on the Rich Razzleberry wedge and on the Painted With Love DSP. I added a bit of bling using the Enamel Shapes Embellishments.
The inside sentiment also from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set is stamped on a panel of Whisper White and adhered to the card base with liquid glue. I stamped the flower from the Love What You Do stamp set on the panel below the sentiment using Rich Razzleberry ink.

This is definitely an eye dizzying card. Look at it long and you may get dizzy or so a friend said.
‘t
Seems, I used more retired items than new, but the cards turned out beautifully I think.

The art piece with the vine and rose was in a stack of cards I received as a gift when I left my job that was supposedly done away with, only to find it had been given to a board member’s wife. We’ll save that story for another day. I colored it using Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, and a Blender Pen. I then fussy cut it, but you know how fussy cuts look there is always a little white border that seems to glare at you. I used a Blender Pen with Tranquil Tide ink that had been rubbed off until it was faint, then I went over the white edges so they would not glare at me. I popped this over the linen thread.
