SU DEMO FUN FOLD BLOG HOP MARCH 2024

SU DEMO FUN FOLD BLOG HOP MARCH 2024

SU DEMO FUN FOLD BLOG HOP MARCH 2024

Welcome to the monthly SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop Group  with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!!

We have a great lineup of talented crafters for you today, who enjoy creating fun folds.  If you love fun folds, I am hoping you find inspiration and enjoyment so much that you will be inspired to join us next time.  You are in for a treat with all the talented demonstrators participating. You can find that list  located at the end of the post about my card creation.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies and Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.  I suppose you can call this Fun Fold a double flap Fun Fold.  Maybe there is another name so if you know what it is called, please let me know.  Card cuts are at the end of the post.

  • Start with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ Basic White cardstock card base.
  • Score at 5-1/2″
  • Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″  piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.
  • Cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock 3-1/2″ x 4″
  • Score both pieces 1/2″ on the 4″ side
  • Fold and burnish the two pieces well.
  • Using adhesive of choice put the adhesive on the 1/2″ score edge.
  • Adhere the two pieces as the photo above shows, the 1/2″ scored edge goes on the back side of the Designer Series Paper so it will be hidden when the piece is adhered to the card base.
  • Adhere the piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper to the card base.
  • Using dies from Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies die cut flowers from Basic White cardstock as shown in the above photo.
  • Adhere the flowers to the two flaps using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
  • Make a loopy bow, adhering to the flap with a glue dot.
  • Adhere the greeting over the bottom of the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp another greeting, this one from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set in Memento Back ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
  • Die cut the greeting using a die from Perennial Postage Dies. You will have to do some adjusting to get it down to the size shown here.
  • Pop over the bottom of the flowers using  Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Open the second flap to reveal a sentiment adhered to the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
  • Using a die from Perennial Postage dies die cut the sentiment.
  • Adhere the sentiment to the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or adhesive of choice.
  • On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set (this one soon to retire).
  • Adhere a strip of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the panel.
  • Adhere the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or adhesive of choice.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of  Countryside Inn Designer Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

  23. Adhere a panel of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper the flap of a Basic White envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow

Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow

The card I am sharing today is a new Online Exclusive, meaning it is in no catalog but only available  in the online store.  I used Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set.

I started with a Blueberry Bushel card stock base.  I embossed a narrow piece of the Blueberry Bushel using Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.  This will be added to the card front after a panel of Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper is added to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Before adhering the panel, stamp a greeting from Garden Meadow stamp set in Versa Mark, sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder, heat emboss using a heat tool.

Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds are popped around the card front.  A few 2023-2025 In Color Dots are also popped around the card front.

On the inside left panel of the card, I have added another panel of Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper.  I have made this a gift card holder, so a piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock is cut and embossed using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.  The piece is then adhered to the bottom of the left side panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The right side panel gets a panel of Basic White card stock with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set.  The panel is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope a piece of Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper is  adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn with Autumn Leaves

Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn with Autumn Leaves

Everyone should know by now that I love easel cards, I make so many.  The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set, I love it also, Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings stamp set and Dies, and All About Autumn Designer Series Paper.

Easel cards are the easiest of all to create.  You can see from the photo above how the card is folded.  The easiness of the card creation is because there is only two pieces of card stock for the card base. The main part that creates the easel is two folds and another piece of card stock is added as you can see that creates the card front with all the elements necessary to decorate the card, with this one the Designer Series Paper does most of the creating.

A piece of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is used as the card background.  The piece is matted on a piece of Early Espresso card stock and adhered to the Copper Clay card base.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings stamp set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink, fussy cut, adhered to a piece of Early Espresso card stock, fussy cut again and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A leaf and spring from Stampin” Up! Autumn Leaves Dies are popped behind the greeting with loops of Linen Thread.

A piece of Very Vanilla card stock is adhered to a piece of Early Espresso as the mat.  Left over pieces of the same piece of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is adhered to the sides of the Very Vanilla piece.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink in the middle of the panel.  Leaves are popped on the bottom of the panel to create the stop for the easel.  A bow is created from Linen Thread and popped on the stem of the leaves.  Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped around the sentiment panel.

A Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any. questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.
